Two panoramas by Mary McNeile for J R Abbey The first a panorama of the Silver Jubilee of George & Mary 1935, Chiswick Press, on a roll within its original wooden tube, hand-coloured cellotype and stencil in twelve sections with a key to the personages and officers commanding the detachments, each section captioned beneath depicting various scenes; together with a panorama of the coronation procession May 12 1937, Chiswick Press, Hand-coloured cellotype and stencilled strip panorama, with a key to the official personages and officers commanding the detachments, both in their original wooden tubes with hand-coloured decoration.From the estate of Sir John Elliott FBA, an eminent British historian and Hispanist who was Regius Professor at the University of Oxford and honorary fellow of Oriel College, Oxford, and Trinity College, Cambridge.The Silver Jubilee with the silk pull slightly loose, some losses to the woodwork around the edges and around the end stretcher. The colour is generally good throughout both with extremely light toning. The case for the pair is not present.
