Original brass tipped rosewood ramrod. Plain acanthus scrolling to lock and hammer. Crisp action on 1st & 2nd cock. 10 bore. Metalwork with light pitting to a pleasing patina. Quality walnut buttstock with sculpted check rest. This is a fine sporting shotgun in shootable condition circa 1839-50.

Original beech stock with Imperial Govt. inspection marks to buttstock. Matching straight bolt no 5867 in good working order and condition. Complete with certificate. (Light pitting to metalwork). *Note virtually ALL GEW 98s found in this country are battle trophies.

Blade 35" in good condition. Steel triple bar hilt (light rusting). Wirebound fishskin grip (minor wear) in its steel scabbard (lightly rusted). This is a good quality sword which requires a sympathetic clean to restore it.
