There is a small chip to the corner of the lid, some light surface scratches to the lid and a few small knocks to the raised areas. Overall a good would require a sympathetic polish.

(D)NB: Norman Makinson was born in Wolstanton, Staffordshire, and attended the Junior Arts School in Burslem from the age of 11 years old. He progressed to the position of Apprentice Decorator at the Wedgwood Pottery factory in 1936 and he designed the Festival of Britain mug (1951). The large Myott jug has a rim chip spurning a crack approx 5cm. The medium jug is ok. The small jug has a tiny chip to the foot rim, all three have some surface scratches to the paint.
