A JAPANESE PARQUETRY AND LACQUER CABINET 19th century The pair of cupboard doors inset with a shaped rectangular lacquer panel decorated with an ornamental pheasant amongst blossoming prunus, a single drawer below, the interior fitted with an arrangement of six drawers On later ebonised wood stand 67cm x 75cm x 39cm; 145cm x 82cm x 43cm including stand Condition: The lower drawer front has bowed slightly and as such does not sit flush at the left hand side, no key for this lock. Cabinet doors with key to lock but the lock is a little problematic. Splits around the lacquer panels visible from the interior of the dors (see additinal images) and some of this visible to the exterior of the left hand door. The interior drawers a a little stiff to open and close, and there is some light wear to the lacquer. Sides and top with some historical scratching and wear and some general signs of age. The modern stand has a weak back leg that is in need of some attention and there is some damage to the fretwork. This is an auction of preowned and antique items. George Best Autograph - The Farm Liverpool - Umbro Replica Celtic Football Club Home Shirt. 1989-1991 Size XL. Used in a video on U.K. tv for the song 'Don't you want me' 1992. The video featured the band playing a match against George. The shirt worn once by a member of the band in the video. Neatly signed in permanent marker, inside one of the white stripes "Best Wishes George Best". Very good condition, light wear and some dust.*Notes* - The vendor is the member of the band. We fully authenticate the signature, the item and its story. The Farm who are big Liverpool fans and football fanatics, chose the Celtic colours due to their close links with the club. George Best scored from a corner in the making of the video, on his third try. When George was asked why he wanted to appear in the video he said: “They’re beautiful, sexy and dangerous, just like me on the football pitch.”

Difficult to photograph signatures with bright red shirt, they are much clearer actually. We cannot identify all the signatures.
