A Chinese blue and white bowl with a fine landscape, Yongzheng mark and of the period H.: 6,5 cm - Dia.: 14,5 cm Condition: (UV-checked)- An insignificant horizontal glaze line of ca. 1 cm on the inside of the bowl, at app. half way up, only visible on the inside.- With a ca. 5 cm hairline running down from the rim between 4 and 5 o'clock.- A minor superficial rim chip filled of ca. 8 x 2 mm at app. 5 o'clock.- A ca. 4 cm hairline just before 10 o'clock, invisible to the naked eye but showing up under UV-light.- A minor superficial rim chip filled of ca. 6 x 2 mm at app. 11 o'clock. Three oval mounted undated photographs of Alfred Swaine Taylor, image size of each approx 10.5 x 12.5cm, each mount appears signed at the bottom in pencil by Fred Pollock. Sir Fred Pollock was president of the Royal Photographic Society 1855 to 1869 Condition Report / Extra Information Images all clean and sound, but with some light soiling to the mounts due to handling.Each bears Pollock's signature to the bottom left corner, and a blindstamp to the right corner.
Eight thick buff leaves, probably from a scrap album, between which have been loosely inserted 5 light grey sheets measuring approx 18 x 11.5cm, on each sheet are two leaf images, in each case the first appearing to be reversed or turned over to produce the second, the fifth one has a smaller leaf image between the two. There is no date or information to say how or when they were done, but they are possibly examples of 'nature printing' using inked impressions of leaves

A yellow gold wedding band, apparently being that of Caroline, Mrs Alfred Swaine Taylor, with accompanying note stating 'My dear mothers wedding and guard ring, Edith C Methold, the wedding ring was taken off after her death February 8th 1870'; together with a 22ct gold band with Latin inscription 'Omnia Vincit Veritas', maker TB, assayed *London 1868*; and a yellow metal and agate set watch key (3).Alfred Swaine Taylor and Caroline Cancellor married in July 1834. Condition Report / Extra Information Wedding ring - very thin and worn, approx 2mm wide, hallmarks worn, size N, weight 1.3g.Gold band - 22ct, hallmarked London 1868, sponsors mark TB, approx 13mm wide, ring is thin and shows signs of wear, has been cut (probably to re-size), cut is visible to both inner and outer band (more so to inner), slightly misshapen consistent with age and wear, size N-O.Watch key - probably gold (not tested), carnelian fob inscribed with a 'C' to one side, key/winder section rusty, light wear throughout.

An Edwardian City of London ''Rough Riders'' Full Dress Tunic to a Squadron Sergeant Major, in light blue wool with dark purple collar, plastron and cuffs, chain epaulettes, bimetal collar badges, brass buttons, the right sleeve with embroidered bullion thread raised crown backed in purple, and gold lace chevrons, with grey lining and blue and yellow webbed belt. Small areas of moth damage, with a small repair to the left sleeve.

A George V 1892 Pattern Infantry Officer's Dress Sword, the narrow double edge picquet blade, length 82 cm, etched with crowned cypher and coat of arms between panels of scrolling foliage, the gilt brass gothic hilt incorporating Royal cypher, chequered backstrap, wire bound fishskin grip, leather bullion knot, leather scabbard, black American cloth slip case. Plated blade with light rusting towards tip. Otherwise good, bright condition overall. Scabbard good.

Blade with allover light rust. Some wear to plating on hilt. Slight wear to fishskin. Some wear to scabbard locket, chape and leather. Locket and Chape lacking securing staples.

An Early 20th Century Brass-Mounted, Brown Leather-Covered, 12 Bore Shotgun Case, the lid underside labelled for W. W. Greener, St. Mary's Row, Birmingham, and 40, Pall Mall, London, S.W.1, internally baise-lined and fitted, to take 30'' barrels, containing oil bottle, assorted cleaning tools (some in leather pouches), dummy cartridge, etc.Lid formerly with plaque bearing owner's name, now lacking and patched. London Luton airport adhesive label attached to lid, partly removed and showing evidence of damage to leather finish. Straps and handle intact and in good condition. Internally with some wear and staining to baise lining. Overall general light damage commensurate with age and use.

London Gazette 28.1.1943 ''This man was the Orderly on an Ambulance Car attached to the R.M.O. of 45 R.T.R. and over four days he repeatedly went forward under shell fire to collect casualties of Tank and Infantry personnel. He showed sustained and outstanding cool courage and devotion to duty in carrying out his task'' Private Ronald Roy Ullett, M.M., was a member of the 8th Light Field Ambulance, R.AM.C. at the time of the above incidents on Meteiriya Ridge in October 1942, his Recommendation being signed by Montgomery as G.O.C Eighth Army

U.S.A./various patent dates from MAY 1864 to MARCH 1874, the left side of the receiver with saddle ring and bar, walnut half stock with pinned single barrel band and indistinct markings to the right side of the butt, 90cm . Action works. Rifling quite crisp. May have been re-blued. Some chips and bruising to stock.
