A 1970's oversized check wool coat labelled "Lee Bender at Bustop" size 14 with detailed cuffs side pockets, button fastening, a 1970's printed afghan style coat with fur lining and extended over the collar and cuffs, frog fastening with a velvet quarter belt to the back and fur trim to the hem, a plaid wool swing coat with wool fringe to the cuffs, collarless, button fastening, a tartan poncho trimmed with black wool labelled "Glen Leven all wool made in Scotland", a vintage light camel wool coat button fastenings, and a Windsmoor green tweed three quarter length coat with bell sleeves and button detail (6)Condition ReportThere appear to be no holes in the Lee Bender at Bustop coat. The printed afghan style coat has two approx 1" split seams under the left armpit and a split seam on the right hand side back panel near the bottom.

One cup is repaired. The others have crazing and hairlines. Three tea bowls have hairlines and one is reglued. Tea caddy lid has chips and the caddy is crazed. One saucer has a chip and hairline. Another has a light hairline on the base. The bowl has a rim chip. The larger dish has a light hairline on the base and the footrim. The covered bowl has a piece missing from the rim and cover. Henry Bernard Chalon (1770-1849) oil on canvas - A Gentleman with his Grey Hunter, 94.5cm x 124.5cm, in gilt frameAn impressive looking picture and basically ready to hang - it has been hung in a large country house kitchen for many years and would benifit from a light clean. It has been re-lined circa 30 years ago and areas of overpainting restoration visible under a UV light. Further images now uploaded.
Must de Cartier Tank wristwatch with quartz movement, the rectangular gold dial with Roman numerals in silver gilt tank shape case, blue sapphire winding crown, the back numbered 22986, model 3 88001. On a later leather strap. Case 21mm x 28mm.The watch is in good condition commensurate with age. The watch is not currently running, probably needs a new battery but we have not examined the movement. The dial and case are both in very good condition, small spot on the dial near the centre. The gold finish is worn on the lugs commensurate with wear and age, light surface scratches but no obvious scratches or dents. The bracelet and clasp are not by Cartier. No box or papers.

In 1936 at the age of 29, he was appointed as Coventry's first City Architect and Planning Officer. Later in Nottingham, as County Architect, he and his development group evolved a method of building using a flexible steel frame (The CLASP System). The design for which can be seen in the background of this portrait. This prefabricated light gauge steel building system became popular in many coal - mining counties because of its ability to reinstate buildings which had been badly affected by mining subsidence.
