Republice Bank of Argentina, an original hand drawn design essay for the face of a 200 Pesos note, possibly circa 1880's to 1890's, in ink pen, watercolour and pencil, measuring 9.6cms x 19.6cms, the design is drawn on light brown backing paper in fragile condition, measuring 21.4cms x 31.0cms, the paper has two significant full width folds top to bottom, each fold with a tear that extends from the bottom of page and approximately 1cm in to the design, the paper shows considerable discolouration and dirt particularly around the edges and to the back, with another tear to top edge of page, and portions missing from all corners
