A Czechoslovakian Art Deco heavy lead crystal glass three-piece dressing table set, designed by Karel Palda, comprising perfume bottle and cover, atomiser, and a dressing table tidy with cover, each having geometric etched decoration, perfume bottle h.14.5cm (3). Atomiser – general tarnishing and handling wear to metal, some nicks to extremities of glass.Perfume bottle and cover – one lower corner of cover has been ground down and polished, some nicks to extremities.Tidy and cover – inside bottom edge of cover with chips (the largest 7x4mm), some further nicks to extremities.All bases with some light surface scratches.

Cigarette case – hinge good and closes air tight, approx. 3x4mm surface chip to enamel at left hand top chamfered edge, otherwise enamel appears good, some surface staining / tarnishing to engine turned back cover.Compact – hinge action good, enamels appear good and complete, some staining / tarnishing to engine turned back cover.Generally with some very light surface scratches throughout and minor age wear to gilt interiors.
A silver, lapis lazuli and malachite necklace, the slightly tapered rectangular links inset with lapis lazuli and malachite, each link approx. 10.5 x 7.5mm, all with closed backs in white metal and box clasp stamped 'Chile 950', with safety catch, length 43cm. Lapis and malachite areas good and complete.Silver slightly tarnished and with light surface scratches.Otherwise very good.
An American Art Deco brass table lamp, having integral domed shade, the plain column with concentric reeded upper and lower borders, raised on slightly domed circular base, with on/off switch, h.54cm. Four noticeable shallow dents to surface of shade.Some light scuffs / scratches to one of the dents on shade.Domes upper part of column is brass but has discoloured into a translucent shade.Approx. 25x15mm surface dent running vertical from top edge of column.Switch good.Underside of integral shade has been painted cream, with flaked losses and discoloured handling wear throughout.

Laurence Broderick (b.1935) - Goddess of Water, maquette, fountain No.12, bronze with mid green patina, edition No. 6/6, signed, titled, numbered and with indistinct studio stamp to front and back of hair, bronze h.146cm, raised on contemporary light oak stepped base, gross h.179cm. Note: Purchased from Laurence Broderick Studios, Sandy, Bedfordshire, 7th November 1996 by the current vendor. This work was exhibited in the Cork Street exhibition of 1996.

Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) for Finmar Ltd - a pair of model 611 birch and upholstered pad back and seat stacking chairs, designed 1929, each labelled 'Finmar Ltd' and further stamped 'Aalto Design Made in Finland', w.48.5cm. Both quite structurally weak (mostly to joints at back supports).One chair with replacement front left leg (timber is light oak, not birch).Scuffs and knocks timber throughout.Upholstery well-worn and frayed at seams.
A 1960s McIntosh Dunvegan dining suite, comprising; extending dining table with pull-out action and single fold-out leaf, labelled verso, raised on slightly curved tapering supports, h.74cm, max. length 194cm, d.83.5cm; and a matching set of six ladderback dining chairs, each having striped upholstered drop-in padseats (4+2) (7). Table – stands well, top surface slightly worn, with light surface scratches and some spotted water marks, pull-out leaf excellent and original, some knocks and scuffs to legs.Chairs – all structurally sound, seats good and complete, some scuffs to extremities but generally very good throughout.
George Nelson (1908-1986) for Herman Miller - an Action Office series rolltop desk, designed 1963, having light oak moveable tambour and work-surface with twin pull-put stationery trays, raised on enamelled and chromed metal end supports, labelled 'Herman Miller' to underside, h.74cm (to writing surface), w.158cm, d.80cm. Tambour mechanism a little stiff.General surface wear and scratches to top.Losses to enamelled side panel.Some paint residue.Rusting to chromed metal supports.Structurally sound.Generally well-used throughout.All one piece – legs do not come off.
Keith Murray for Wedgwood - a 'Moonstone' lemonade set, comprising large jug, six tankards, and a circular sugar bowl with cover, each with lower concentric banded detail and blue printed backstamps verso, jug h.21cm, tankard h.12.3cm, sugar bowl dia. 11.5cm (8).
