CHINESE GUANGXU LIDDED PORCELAIN VASE Chinese lidded Qing Dynasty enameled porcelain mei ping form vase. Finely hand painted and enameled throughout depicting pink and blue chih lung dragons amongst scrolled floral designs over light green ground. Stylized lingzhi border to neck and paddle band to foot. Seated foo dog finial to cover. Holds red six character calligraphy Guangxu (1875-1908) period reign marks to bottom, and is made of the period. Measures 10 3/8" height (26.3cm). Total weight of 649 grams. Provenance: From an important St. Louis Collection. Vase is illustrated in "Allen`s Introduction to Later Chinese Porcelain", June 1996 pg54, fig 17(b). Item b-975-c. Acquired by the estate directly from The Anthony Allen personal collection.
