Vintage signed and inscribed 7 x 10 photograph of Rains in a head and shoulders pose as Howard Justin from The Passionate Friends (1949). Signed in blue fountain pen ink to the lower white border alongside a printed caption promoting the romantic drama film. Some light surface and corner creasing. An excellent vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph, the image depicting Lorre standing in a half length pose in costume as Dr Arthur Lorentz, a sheriff, from the comedy horror film The Boogie Man Will Get You (1942) in which he starred alongside Boris Karloff. RATHBONE BASIL: (1892-1967) British Actor, famous for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in a number of films. Dark fountain pen ink signature ('Basil Rathbone') on a 12mo piece. SPENSER JEREMY: (1937- ) British Actor who disappeared into obscurity in the late 1960s. Vintage signed postcard photograph of the young actor in a head and shoulders pose. Picturegoer Number W850. Signed in blue fountain pen ink to a light area of the image. With a brief A.N.S., Jeremy Spenser, to the verso, thanking his correspondent for their nice letter. Scarce. FLYNN SEAN: (1941-1971) American Actor & Photojournalist, son of Errol Flynn. A rare A.L.S., Sean, one page, 4to, Paris, 18th August 1967, to 'Dear Grandfather', on the printed stationery of The Dorchester hotel in London. Flynn announces 'It was a shock to learn of grandmother's demise and I didn't hear of it until mother told me' and continues 'I was in Viet-nam at the time. I can understand how you must feel lonely but I would hope that you would keep in mind the rest of your family', further writing 'Mother has mentioned you often as a person she loves and respects….' Flynn concludes his letter 'Unfortunately I cannot return for a while to the U.S. for income tax reasons. But perhaps that will soon change. I will soon return to Asia but will certainly write for your news'. Autographs of Flynn are rare in any form as a result of his disappearance in Cambodia at the age of 28. Some light overall creasing and one small tear to the head of the page, about VG Flynn was the only child of Errol Flynn and his first wife, the actress Lili Damita.
JAMES BOND: A 19 x 9.5 photograph individually signed by the main six actors to have portrayed James Bond, Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig, the montage image depicting the actors standing and seated together in a casino. Signed by each in gold and silver inks to the image. Matted in black and white and framed and glazed in a plain black frame to an overall size of 24.5 x 15. A couple of the signatures are a little light, although legible. VG
OBERON MERLE: (1911-1979) Anglo-Indian Actress. Vintage signed and inscribed sepia 11 x 14 photograph, an engaging close-up portrait of the actress. Signed in blue fountain pen ink, largely across a clear area at the base of the image, 'To my "Babe", with much affection, Merle Oberon'. A few light indentations to the lower right corner only very slightly affect a couple of letters in the inscription, and not the signature. Some very slight, minor corner creasing, about VG

Vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of the actress standing outdoors in a three quarter length pose in costume as Renee in a scene from What's New Pussycat (1965). An original pencil drawing of Chaplin by an amateur artist on a 4to sheet of paper, the image showing Chaplin in a head and shoulders pose, signed and dated in pencil by the artist, Anthony Wray, 1972, at the base and also signed by Chaplin in black ink to a clear area, 'Very good, Charles Chaplin'. Some extremely light, very minor staining to the edges, caused by previous mounting to the verso, not affecting the image or signature. About VG

Vintage signed sepia 7 x 5 photograph by both Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy individually, the image depicting the duo in smiling head and shoulders poses together. Signed by each with their names alone in bold blue fountain pen inks to the lower border. Accompanied by the original printed Laurel and Hardy Feature Productions envelope post marked at California, 29th January 1945, and bearing a colour printed vignette of the duo. ALI MUHAMMAD: (1942- ) American Boxer, World Heavyweight Champion. A printed 8vo American TV Guide magazine issued for 10th - 16th May 1975, featuring a reproduction of a drawing of Ali to the front cover with the printed caption Muhammad Ali Defends His Title On Home TV This Week, signed by Ali in black ink with his name alone to a clear area of the cover. Some very light, extremely minor age wear, VG Ali fought American Boxer Ron Lyle (1941-2011) on 16th May 1975 in the second title defense of his second reign as champion. The fight was close going into the 11th round, with Lyle winning on all three of the judges' score cards. Ali then hit Lyle with a strong right hand and followed flurrying with several punches scoring. The referee stopped the fight, seeing that Lyle had practically stopped defending himself. Lyle's corner was not happy with the referee's decision.
FITZGERALD ELLA: (1917-1996) American Jazz Singer. An excellent vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of the youthful Fitzgerald in a head and shoulders pose. The publicity portrait was issued to promote Ella Fitzgerald and Her Famous Orchestra. Signed in bold black fountain pen ink across a clear area of the image. A few very light, extremely minor surface and corner creases, VG Early in her career Fitzgerald sang with Chick Webb and his orchestra and upon the death of Webb in 1939 his band was renamed Ella Fitzgerald and Her Famous Orchestra. As nominal bandleader Fitzgerald recorded nearly 150 songs with the orchestra before it broke up in 1942.

SHAKUR TUPAC: (1971-1996) American Rapper & Musician. An extremely rare signed 8 x 10 photograph, the image depicting 2Pac in a head and shoulders pose with a bandana tied across his forehead. Signed in bold black ink to a light area of the image, with an additional sentiment in his hand, 'No matter where life takes U…Always keep ya head ↑ 2Pac' and dated 1995 in his hand. The rapper has also added a peace symbol and drawing of a heart in his hand ('Peace n love') above his signature. Autographs of the rapper are extremely rare as a result of his tragic murder at the age of 25. EX Accompanied by a signed affidavit by Atron Gregory, Tupac Shakur's manager, dated 27th March 2013, stating that he has personally examined the present photograph and believes the signature and handwriting to be authentic.

Callas in her last Paris performance of Norma CALLAS MARIA: (1923-1977) American-born Greek Soprano. A printed 4to programme for a performance of Vincenzo Bellini's opera Norma at the Theatre National de l'Opera, Paris, on 24th June 1964, signed ('Maria Callas') by Callas to her inside photo page, the image depicting the soprano in a half length costume pose. Signed in bold blue ink with her name alone to the lower white border. The programme is also signed on various pages by Fiorenza Cossotto (Adalgisa), Ivo Vinco (Oroveso) and Georges Pretre (conductor). Accompanied by a printed 12mo ticket stub for the performance. Some light overall age wear and some creasing to the covers, G Franco Zeffirelli (1923- ) Italian Director and Producer was responsible for creating this production of Norma which was to be Callas' last appearance in the role in Paris.
AUTOGRAPH ALBUM: An 8vo autograph album containing over 50 signatures by various ballet dancers, classical musicians and singers etc., including Anna Pavlova, Kirkby Lunn, A. C. Mackenzie (A.M.Q.S.), Frederick Corder (A.M.Q.S.), Agnes Nicholls Harty, Harry Plunket Greene, Clara Butt, R. Kennerley Rumford, Julian Clifford (A.M.Q.S.) etc., also including a number of signatures of lesser known musicians etc., who evidently performed alongside the collector, Miss Lillian Hawkins, with several of the inscriptions relating to her participation in a tour with Pavlova at various English towns during 1912. Some pages multiple signed and a few signatures in pencil. Some light overall age wear, about VG Lilian Hawkins performed as a Solo Harpist with Pavlova in 1912.
