LATE VICTORIAN LIGHT OAK DINING ROOM SUITEin the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, comprising a large D end wind out table with four extra leaves, standing on bulbous turned supports with porcelain castors, 364cm extended; with four single and two carver dining chairs with shaped and carved top rails above a central carved splat flanked by shaped and turned columns and a leatherette stuffover seat, standing on turned front supports with porcelain castors; together with a sideboard with a raised back and shelf flanked by finials, the shelf on four shaped supports with three carved panels below, the base with three carved frieze drawers with lion mask handles above a central open recess flanked by a pair of carved panel cupboard doors with shelves and a rotating bottle store, with a carved apron standing on flattened bun feet, 214cm long; and a similar sideboard/table leaf store, with a raised back and shelf flanked by finials on shaped supports above a central bevelled mirror flanked by a pair of carved panels, with three frieze drawers below with lion mask handles above a central carved panel flanked by plain panels, the sides with panel doors revealing baize lined leaf storage, with a carved apron standing on flattened bun feet, 158cm wide; and a carved oak pot cupboard with a raised back above a moulded top above a frieze drawer with a carved cupboard panel door below, standing on turned front supports, 68.5cm high
An Art Deco grey painted oak bedroom suite comprising of a triple mirrored dressing table with two light fittings to either side, an oval top, two drawers in the top and two in the pedestal together with a stool come bin with a hinged lid and printed cloth cover to the lid. The dressing table 77 cm wide x 48 cm deep x 154 cm high to the top of the mirrors together with a fitted wardrobe with molded decoration to the doors, 84 cm wide x 53 cm deep x 121 cm high (3)
A Victorian silver presentation trowel inscribed “Presented to Mr. John Brewer of Walsall by the Trustees of the New Wesleyan Chapel, Ablewell Street, Walsall on the occasion of his laying the foundation stone March 23rd 1859” (by T.W. & Co, Birmingham 1858), 5.28oz including the light lacquered wood simulated ivory handle, together with a similar plated trowel inscribed “Presented to Mrs. J. Brewer Junr, Mayoress of the Town in laying one of the corner stones of Queen Street, Wesleyan Chapel, Walsall July 22 1867” (plate worn)
A pair of Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co Tudric pewter "bomb" vases (0226) with stylised floral embossed decoration raised on three butress supports, one inscribed to foot "to Rose for holeing in one the 5th hole at Shirley Park Golf Course 21.8.27 from Bert" together with a copy of Kent County Council driving licence for Rose Kevis 8th May 1925 - 7th May 1926, a letter to "Dear Dolly" from "Mirrie" together with another scrap letter "Dear Dolly" both contained in an envelope inscribed "Herbert J Kevis" dated 24th December 1920 and a note from Joan Gardiner of Court Colman dated 27.8.1984 relating to the acquisition of the vases with some detail of Mrs Rose Kevis CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches, some light scuffs in areas and some accretions. A late Victorian silver water jug of urn form, raised on three shell decorated splayed feet (Sheffield 1891), 16.62 oz including handle CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches, some tarnishing to the end of the silver mounts for the handle. A George III silver wine funnel in two parts (by Hester Bateman, London 1770), 2.39 oz CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches, scuffs, etc. Some knocks to the edge of the funnel bowl where it is also slightly misshapen. There is a split to the foot of the strainer, some tarnishing to both pieces. There are appears to be a rubbed mark to the top of the funnel. The end of the spout is slightly misshapen and there are some minor knocks throughout. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.
A mid 20th Century 14 carat white gold brooch in the form of a poodle with ruby set eyes and diamond set collar, 17.9 g CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches can be seen on the back of the piece. A late 20th Century 9 carat gold cased Garrard wristwatch with plated strap CONDITION REPORTS Unknown if working, no visiible movement. There is nothign inscribed on the case back. A 19th Century amboyna etui of shaped form, the top with cartouche initialed "A.S.W.", together with a 19th Century six draw brass opera telescope with ivory mount of squat form, inscribed "Dollond", together with another similar two draw example, one barrel inscribed "Watkins & Hill Charing Cross London" CONDITION REPORTS The etui has light surface scratches and scuffs, some minor knocks to the wood, some tarnishing to the metal edging and cartouche. Two of the items from the etui are missing and the scissors have lost a handle. Some discolouration and staining to the velvet and the silk on the inside. The Dollond opera telescope has light surface scratches and scuffs, numerous accretions and build-up of dirt around the edges. The ivory is discoloured with some staining. There is a split also to the ivory. There are two cracks to the glass behind the objective lens although this does not appear to hamper the view when looking through it. Item could do with a clean. The other opera telescope has surface scratches, tarnishing to the metal, accretions and build up of dirt and dust in areas. The ivory is discoloured and has some staining. There is also a split down one side of the ivory. All items have general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.
A late 19th Century Chinese polychrome decorated hexagonal bowl decorated with figures in a garden setting, bearing Xianfeng type seal mark to base, together with a famille rose ginger jar and a humming bird decorated bowl CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches, some wear and scuffs to the glaze on the side of the bowl mainly to the base and around the inside of the rim, accretions, some wear to the gilt around the rim. Some areas of discolouration, some areas of loss to the red line decoration at the bottom of the foot either through wear or from application in the making process. There is an old repair to the rim of the vase. The lid has some light surface scratches, some discolouration to the underside. Lid appears to be original to the piece. A circa 1900 oak tea or decanter table with double rising top and rising interior, raised on square tapered legs to brass caps and castors CONDITION REPORTS Muliple light surface scratches, knots and scuffs to the wood, some fading and discolouration in areas. The moulding to the top of one of the legs is slightly loose. One of the castors is missing. The mechanism for raising the interior is in good working order. An early 20th Century Arts and Crafts style oak dressing table of small proportions, the triple mirror back flanked by two ringed and turned electric lights, above a single drawer, flanked by floral decoration, together with a matching upholstered stool CONDITION REPORTS Some surface scratches, some scuffs and knocks to the wood, areas of staining and discolouration mainly to the top of the dressing table. There is an area of de-lamination to the bottom right front, also some small chips and de-laminations to the base around the back, Some areas of staining to the top. The candlesticks are a little loose. Some scratches, scuffs, staining and knocks to the wood to the back of the mirrors. Some tarnishing to the metal hinges. A Robert Thompson of Kilburn (The Mouseman) refectory style dining table with adzed top raised on twin pillar supports united by a centre stretcher CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches to the top. There are areas that have flecks of what appear to be white paint and brown paint or some other kind of accretion. There are a couple of knocks to the wood and scuffs to two of the corners of the table top. A Noritake impression (P576) twelve place dinner service CONDITION REPORTS Light surface scratches, some wear to the gilt on some of the bases, the handle has broken off on the gravy boat but is present, accretions and general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. The lot consists of three lidded vegetable tureens, a salt and pepper, a large serving bowl, twelve bowls, a teapot, four napkin rings, twelve large plates, twelve medium plates, twelve small plates, a platter or meat dish, a gravy boat and saucer, a milk jug, a lidded sugar bowl, twelve cups and saucers and one extra tureen lid. The set is blue and gilt.

A pair of late 19th Century Williamite engraved funnel shaped wines inscribed "Boyne 1st July 1690 T.D.C.S.C. the glorious memory of King William no surrender" (possibly engraved by Franz Tieze (1842-1932) for Thomas and Richard Pugh of Potters Alley Glasshouse Dublin) CONDITION REPORTS Both glasses have some very light surface scratches and age-related wear to both bases. Overall, both glasses are in good condition, with general wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
An 18th Century wine glass with ogee bowl on a plain stem with double series opaque twist decoration raised on a circular foot together with a wine glass with engraved trumpet shaped bowl on a plain tapered stem to circular folded foot, a plain glass goblet, the bowl engraved "J Scott" raised on a circular foot and a small cordial glass with grape and vine engraved decoration on a knop stem to circular folded foot CONDITION REPORTS The plain glass goblet inscribed "J Scott" has some light surface scratches, inclusions and imperfections to the glass from the manufacturing process. Age-related wear to the base. The glass with the opaque twist stem has light surface scratches, some small chips to the rim, three small chips to the base and some imperfections to the glass from the manufacturing process. The small cordial glass has some light surface scratches and an internal air bubble to the rim. A collection of six various cut glass decanters/ewers, five facet cut jars and covers, pressed glass bowl and a cut glass shaped dish CONDITION REPORTS Numerous light surface scratches, accretions, etc. There is clouding to the inside of two of the decanters and a water staining to the inside of another. One of the cut glass decanters has a few small chips to the rim. The mallet shape hobnail decanter has some small chips to the main body and shoulder, also chips to the base. The second hobnail decanter has numerous small chips to the body to the hobnail decoration. All items have general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details. Three of the decanters appear to be early 20th Century to mid-20th Century and two of the decanters are Victorian.
