Stilnovo, Italian 1950s, a five-light chandelier, five pendant white glass shades of globe form suspended from chrome cylinders/Please note this item is sold as a decorative object only. It has not been tested by an electrician and will require professional rewiring. CONDITION REPORT: Condition overall good. Chromium needs a good clean and bauble shades a little grubby.
Attributed to Birmingham School of Handicrafts, British 1920s, a hammered copper pendant light, the sides with fleur de lys motifs, the circular frame 36cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: There are no tears to the metal, however there are five recent small holes that have been drilled, two each into two of the three areas of the circle and one hole in one of the three decorative hooks (two of these are bent). The surface is dirty and requires cleaning and there is a slight horizontal buckling to the circle. This is not wired for electricity.
An Art Nouveau style brass pendant light, of foliate design with copper coloured petal shades, 53cm high CONDITION REPORT: This light fitting needs cleaning, the copper petals are not copper but copper coloured on a base metal. It will need to be re-wired prior to use and has not been tested
A pair of tall modern display stands, each with brass frame and three shelves, inset light to the top, 186cm high, 26.5cm square CONDITION REPORT: These display shelves are in a good condition generally, there are some scratches to the paintwork on the bases and some corrosion to the gold metal supports (mostly on the base). They are wired for electricity but have not been tested and may need to be re-wired.
Leonard Richmond (1889-1965)/Boats at Penzance/signed/oil on canvas, 50cm x 60cm CONDITION REPORT: Condition appears excellent. Very slight yellow tinge, most noticeable in the sails, which a light clean might improve. The canvas has not been relined and is slightly loose in the nail-type grips. The frame seems fairly modern, in the “shabby/chic” style, and is in good condition.
