ALESSANDRO PIANON (ITALIAN, 1931-84) FOR VETRERIA VISTOSI, PULCINO MURANO GLASS BIRD CIRCA 1961 hand-blown and formed glass, applied murine, on copper legs31cm highThe legs do remove from the sockets, there is possibly a tiny imperfection to one of the sockets but no other issues, the 'feet' are slightly knocked downwards to one side so there is a slight wobble and does not sit perfectly flat overall, some further slight misshaping to the other feet; there are some light, small surface scratches; also some light pitting, slight imperfections and small surface 'blisters' presumably from manufacture towards the centre, base and tail of the piece as well as some small internal air bubbles to this area; also some 'gritty' areas above the colouring to the lower body although this applies to one side and not the other; however no other apparent issues or damage to note; additional images availabledifficult to determine whether the beak has been polished, it does taper at a different angle fromone side to the other, further images available
