Two Clasp Punjab 1848-49 Campaign Medal 14th Light Dragoons, the medal was awarded to “QR MR G SHENTON 14TH LT DRAGNS”, medal has clasps Goojerat and Chilianwala. Some contact marks to the edge. George Shenton enlisted as a Private in the 14th Light Dragoons on 16th July 1828. His papers show that he served with the regiment during the battle of Goojerat and Chilianwala in the Punjab. His papers also show that he died at sea 2nd March 1850.
Indian Army Officers Pouch Plate, bronzed two piece pouch plate in the form of Victorian crowned laurel wreath with blank scroll under the crown, lions head to the centre with ring within mouth. Screw post fittings to the reverse. Vendor states Madras Light Cavalry, shown on page 240 of Lyle Arms & Armour 1979.

Victorian Royal Marines Light Infantry Officers Shako Badge Circa 1860, fine gilt rayed star with Victorian crown replacing the top point, Gibraltar top scroll, laurel wreath overlay with central strap having motto set on blue enamel backing and silvered globe to the centre, anchor below strap and silvered strung bugle below. Two lug fittings to the reverse. Remains in very good condition.
Victorian Royal Marine Light Infantry Officers 1878 Pattern Helmet Plate, fine quality eight pointed star backing plate with the top point being replaced by Victorian crown, GIBRALTAR scroll and laurel wreath with anchor, central strap with motto set upon blue enamel backing and silvered globe, bottom point of plate fitted with silvered strung bugle. Reverse of the plate complete with three lug fittings.

Rare Imperial Russian Adrian Pattern Steel Combat Helmet, standard Adrian pattern helmet but with the double headed eagle badge of the Imperial Russian army to the front. The helmet has a thick brown/green paint finish to the exterior and interior of the shell, not the normal light brown colour you see on Imperial Russian helmets. Interior of the helmet retains the leather liner and chinstrap. Some light areas of paint loss to the exterior where the original Horizon blue paint can be seen. Possibly re-painted in the immediate Tsar period. Original Russian Adrian pattern helmets are very scarce.
WW1 French Artillery Adrian Pattern Steel Combat Helmet, fine example retaining most of its original light Horizon Blue paint finish to the exterior and interior of the shell. Front of the helmet is fitted with the flaming grenade and crossed cannons badge of the Artillery. Original leather liner to the interior with the original leather chinstrap. Original owners name inked to the inside of the shell.
Kings Shropshire Light Infantry Other Ranks Dress Tunic, fine scarlet cloth with dark navy blue collar and cuffs, piped in white and central white piping. Brass post 1902 general service tunic buttons to the front and rear skirt. Collar retains the brass other ranks collar badges and shoulder straps have embroidered SHROPSHIRE and French horn. Standard lining to the interior with remains of inked issue stamps.
Post 1902 4th Volunteer Battalion Oxford & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry Colour Sergeants Dress Tunic, scarlet cloth tunic with buff white collar, cuffs and piping to shoulder boards. Bullion colour sergeants sleeve badge to arm, lower cuff with bullion stars and the other cuff bullion crossed rifles. White metal shoulder titles and white metal general service tunic buttons to the front and lower skirt of the reverse. Red sash remains with the tunic. Standard lining to the inside with remains of ink stamps. Overall in very good condition.
Great War 1916 Western Front George V Military Medal (M.M) Group of Four 8th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, group consists of George V Military Medal “S-9641 PTE H LOWE 8/SEA HDRS”, 1914-15 star trio. Some light contact marks but generally good condition. The 8th Service Battalion Seaforth Highlanders was raised at Fort George in September 1914 as part of Kitchener’s Army. They landed at Boulogne in July 1915. They were involved in the Battle of Loos in 1915. In 1916 they were involved in the German gas attacks near Hulluch and the defence of the Kink position. During the Battle of the Somme they fought at Pozieres, Flers-Courcelette and the capture of Martinpuich. Private Lowe’s Military Medal appeared in the London Gazette 23rd August 1916.
WW2 German Kriegsmarine Ships Night Indication Light, the metal casing painted in Battleship grey / green paint finish. Mirror and bulb to the interior. Original closing plate. Brass Busch Rathenow makers plate to the side. Reverse has black painted details but these are worn and not totally clear.
WW2 Kyffhauserbund (Veterans Association) Peaked Cap, good example of the peaked service cap worn by members of the German war veterans association during the Third Reich period. Blue cloth body with embroidered black central band, gilt metal cap wreath with painted central insignia. Complete with the original chinstrap. Interior of the cap retains the original leather sweatband and blue lining with silver leaf tailors details and Veterans Association insignia. Original owners initials plaques fitted to the sweatband. Some light scattered moth tracking to the top but otherwise a good example. RE-OFFERED DUE TO NON PAYING BIDDER
