A rare Second World War British Military Issue Grana W.W.W. stainless steel manual wristwatch, the circular black dial bearing the broad arrow mark, with luminous 'pencil' hands, Arabic numeral markers, railroad minute track and subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock position, marked with 10 seconds intervals. The Grana KF 320 calibre fifteen jewel movement in stainless steel case with screw-back stamped with broad arrow, W.W.W. M18105. Case 36mm wide excluding crown. It is believed that only 1,000 - 1,500 of these watches were produced for British Military issue, making this watch one of the rarest and most coveted of the 'Dirty Dozen' CONDITION REPORT Overall condition very good, watch runs well. Luminous paint on hands is slightly discoloured as to be expected, visible in the photograph. Some light surface scratching to case commensurate with age/use. The watch has been recently serviced and cleaned and at the same the balance assembly was replaced and now keeps very good time.
