The large white opal showing multiple colours including red and measures 20mm x 15mm, stamped 18ct, size I, 4.7g.There is an edge chip by a claw at the 12 or 6 o'clock position, depending on how you are looking at the stone. It is noticeable with the naked eye. There is a small line emanating from one claw but we are unsure whether it is a scratch or hairline crack. Not noticeable to the eye. Very light surface scratches.
Possibly Australian, the applied fern leaves set with pink stones, the bangle with engraved bands, width 63mm, 13.25g.The back of the bangle has a line dent and is misshapen. The clasp works and there is a safety chain. A few of the stones have very light chips, not noticeable to the eye. The tarnishing could be polished out. No hallmarks.

Circa 1968, the outer bezel with red triangular pointer and inscribed with named destinations, the inner scale with 24 hour numerals, black 25mm dial with date aperture, ref. 148-35-01, serial no. 849616, 24 jewel movement, case diameter 43mm, original strap, sold with original guarentee from P T Barnard Old Bond Street Bath, 13 Dec 1968, with instructions and cardboard postage box.Very light wear. There are a few light scratches to the glass. The outer bezel has an area of black finish chipped off, but this is on the side back edge of the bezel. The bezel has a couple of minor dings to the front edges but not very noticeable to the naked eye. The steel case has very light wear with a few minor scratches. The crowns work and the watch is running.

Two Chinese Dehua blanc de chine libation cups, Qing dynasty, 18th century, each with applied sprrigs of blossoming prunus, on a branch form base, the larger cup with applied label for Bluett & Sons, London, each with applied R.G label with ink inscribed stock numbers 316 & 325,10.5cm x 7cm & 11.3cm x 7.3cmH. M. Barker collection, London, UK.The larger cup has an open firing crack on the base and numerous surface scratches to the interior. No signs of any post production chips or cracks.The smaller cup a a small crack with restoration on one support. The other support has a very fine hairline crack at the opposite end. The interior with surface scratches. Each applied sprig has a fine brown stained crack/firing crack near the bottom of the stem. A small black speck on the rim, though this is likely to have been produced during firing. Both cups appear free from rim chips and any obvious rim cracks. Under a strong light the paste of the body appears white with patches of yellow. Generally overall, both are in good order other than those faults mentioned.

Buyer must be over the age of 18. Age verification ID will be required if this lot is to be posted out.The dagger has some pitting marks to the tip, an attempt has been made to clean these up however they are too deep to fully polish out. The attempt to clean the point up has left approximately 2cm of the blade from the tip backward slightly matt, this area does not have the original polish the rest of the blade has. There as some dark speckled marks scattered over the blade and some more pitting and light scratching and matt area of polish around the logo and ricasso area. The crossguard has some areas of light corrosion. The scabbard has some wear marks and the buckle is perishing.

The scabbard has two dents to the main body, there are corrosion patches, scuffs and wear to the blacked body, the two screw heads near the throat show signs of being tightened. The wood grip has numerous small light marks or scratches and dents but nothing deep or defacing. The blade has some wear marks from sliding in and out of the scabbard. There are a few dark corrosion marks but the blade generally has a good polish. The cutting edges are not sharp and the point has probably had the edge taken off it. The leather hanging strap shows signs of age and wear. The Vendor's father served in WWII and brought this dagger back with him.

The nipples are all damaged and need replacing. The bore has very slight pitting towards the muzzle but a good rifling pattern is visible. There is some light pitting to the metalwork and some scratches and rubbing to the bluing. There is a small chip to the base of the bone grip but there are no cracks or other damages.

There is very light fine pitting in places, mainly the grip frame, hammer, and cylinder. The grips have patches of wear to them but they are free from chips or cracks. Some screw head gates are chewed. The action works in both single and double action, the cylinder locks up and indexes correctly. The bore has some pitting patches scattered throughout. These probably will not clean out and are mainly towards the muzzle and within the last inch of the barrel.

The bore is shiny and clean, it has one light surface scratch line but this does not look serious. The ramrod is missing. The stock is in very good order with only minor knocks or marks which are mainly around the butt plate. The previous owner (known well to us at the saleroom) was an excellent shot with a musket winning many medals for the UK as part of the British muzzle loader team. The previous owner felt the ignition time was not fast enough and had the touch hole bushed and re-drilled to improve on this. It is for this reason the musket has been reproofed at Birmingham prior to sale.

The bore is mint, the metal work has very light speckling in the polished areas and the blued barrel has very minor wear. The brass butt plate has some very insignificant marks but is generally clean. The action works correctly with a strong spring. The stock has some occasional marks but nothing major. The bayonet is of similar quality with some scuffing and marks to the leather but nothing major.

Fitted with leather recoil pad.UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH 7.92 or 8mm or 8X57 VARIATION OR RFD REQUIRED112cm long The rifle appears to have had a fair amount of use and wear, however it is in reasonably good order throughout considering its working life. The bore is dirty within the grooves but a reasonably well-defined rifling pattern can be seen with no damage or heavy pitting. The crown of the muzzle is in good condition without faults. The bolt looks in good order with some wear to the bluing in the places it has rubbed on the receiver. There is a small ring of very light pitting to the bolt face where the edges of the primer pocket on the head of cartridges have been. There are light corrosion spots on the polished surface of the rear sight and there is the odd dot scattered throughout the rifle but these are minor and would clean up with ease. Most of the blued finish is present with wear to the high points. The stock has a short split emanating from the action tang (see image uploaded recently) this does not appear to affect the stability of the stock. There are some dents and scratches to the woodwork but no major damages or repairs. The safely catch and foresight have red paint applied to them as a visual aid.

The bolt is dirty and could do with old dried oil cleaning off in order to run more smoothly. The firing pin leaves a good stamp on a cartridge foot rim. There are three holes drilled to the top of the receiver which are neatly filled with screws presumably for scope mounting.

There are four short splits around the lockplate area and one near the trigger guard (probably from wood shrinkage) the stock however appears strong and stable. The sling is still usable but it is perishing is small places.

The bore shows signs of light wear and very minor light surface speckling / frosting. A strong rifling pattern remains however. The barrel has been reblued at the time of the sights being changed and has a small hole filled in from a previous sight base. The stock has a very short spit to the butt, it has been lightly refinished when the unit disk was filled in. There are some surface scratches.

We do not have the facilities to check if the rifle cycles with live ammunition however it sets a blank round off perfectly well.

The 12 bore barrels measure at .724 on each side and wall thickness of 25 on the right barrel and 29 on the left. The sling swivel from the barrels has been removed. The action works correctly with snap caps. The barrels are tight on the actions with the forend removed. The stock has some scratches and minor dents but nothing defacing. There are no splits or repairs.

The barrel band and nose cap are well made replacements. Parts of the rear sight are replacements as is the extractor. The buttplate is blued and does not match the rest of the carbine's patina, there is a short split to the stock running from the butt plate. The lower sling swivel is missing. The action works correctly. The bore is bright with a good strong rifling pattern. There are scattered minor patches of surface pitting. The metalwork generally has some light pitting. The stock has the usual dents and marks of a military gun.

There are lots of light knocks, dents, marks and signs of age to the wood and some parts of the metalwork but nothing defacing. The action is very stiff but cocks and produces a spark. The bore has some heavy corrosion. There is a small gap between the pan and the lock plate and there is some significant corrosion here. There are also some very light recent scattered corrosion patches which would clean up with ease. There is a section of the butt stock that has been attached during the production of this gun. The glue joint is starting to separate leaving a crack, the stock however is stable and this fault is cosmetic.
