Mikel Arteta red Arsenal away shirt season 2014-15 from the game v Sunderland that took place at the Stadium of Light on 25/10/14, Player issued short sleeved Puma example with Barclays Premier League badges on both sleeves. The front has the Club crest and the "Fly Emirates" sponsor logo. The back is lettered ARTETA in red, bears the number 8 and is size M The shirt is in excellent condition and shows no evidence of match wear Arsenal won the game by 2 goals to nil, with Sanchez scoring a brace. Arteta started the game and made way for substitute Ramsay in the 88th minute.
A rare and possibly unique Middlesbrough circa.1886-1890 match worn jersey, with button up collar and front with embroidered badge inscribed "M.F.C" ERIMUS, the cuffs are polka dot similar to the collar, heavy, white wool, manufactured by E. Banks, shirt maker Middlesboro. There is a little evidence of age related wear, the shirt shows areas of brown spotting all over, one L-shaped tear on right breast which has been repaired, no other holes or moth damage is apparent. Overall, for the age of the shirt it is in excellent condition. We would imagine that this is the oldest Middlesboro shirt that survives and possibly the oldest example of a shirt from a League club still in one piece. We believe that it dates from between 1886 and 1890, when they changed to a blue shirt, before another change back to white up to 1899 which is when they finally turned professional permanently and adopted more or less the red that they are famed for today. Born originally in 1876, the Northeast Club had tried three other fetching colour combinations before this fine piece saw the light if day. I find it fascinating that this actually bears a badge beautifully embroidered on the breast pocket with the MFC logo, so I would also imagine that the shirt could have held some special significance to either Club or player. The trim is exceptional, a blue and white polka dot round the collar and buttons to complement the light blue needlework on the badge and made from flannelette like some Victorian dress shirt which, without the badge it could well be mistaken for.

Cavalry sabre, 91cm curved blade, unmarked, two bar guard, wire bound grip, with metal scabbard.Condition report:Scabbard is free from any indentations but overall patina is poor - corrosion and light rusting throughout. Scabbard and blade both retain a good shape. Scabbard measures 95cm, blade is 91cm, overall length is 109.5cm. The pommel is tight and without any movement. The wire grip moves slightly but remains tight and effective. The blade is heavily greased. Pommel and hilt are stamped '22' but no other maker's marks.

Otherwise some light scratching to top. The spindles are all good and it revolves well. Light rubbing to edges of the legs.

Large pitch pine bookcase, inverted breakfront moulded cornice, open adjustable shelves, the base with linenfold doors, plinth base, width 316cm, depth 37cm, height 247cm.Condition report:The depth of the plinth is closer to 38cm, otherwise they are correct. The hinges work well and doors are aligned. There is one piece of plank loose from the back of the base, there is a crack to the right side corner of the top of the edging. The top of the plinth is marked and stained in places. There is light mould marks to the back of boards of the top. There are some light chips to the wood on some edges. The front of the doors are a bit scratched and marked in places. There are no keys for the locks, although mechanisms are in place. The bookcase separates at the top of the plinth only (so in two sections - top shelves and cupboard base).Shelves are adjustable. Shelf depth 21cm. Internal shelf depth 28.5cm.

It is just a little rubbed on the painte and the metal is age tarnishing. The Urn is ceramic with a metal lining , top rim and base. The metal lining inside is very rusty and has holes. The ceramic is good with no cracks, just light rubbing to the hand painted sides. The other items are showing just light wear. The Imari charger has a tiny chip to the edge rim.
