CONTINENTAL SILVER CASED POCKET WATCH with engraved foliate designed case, marked, with an Albert link chain; together with a silver pendant, Birmingham marks, 3.5cm long, and a silver brooch embossed with the word 'BABY', the pendant and brooch approximately 18g in total (3) The marks are rubbed to the brooch. The glass face is not present with the pocket watch. Light surface wear.
An alexandrite ring, the oval~shaped alexandrite weighs 7.64 carats and is set in a plain yellow gold mount. Engraved to the interior: 'Presented to R. Hancock Esq by The European Employees of the Mysore Co. March 1896.The honorary Colonel Richard Hancock was the overseer of the Mysore gold mine in India.Accompanied by report number 10864 dated 25th February 2015 from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory, London stating that the natural rectangular cushion~cut alexandrite weighs 7.64 carats and appears green in daylight, pinkish green in incandescent light.
A natural pearl and diamond flower head ring, the pink pearl set within a surround of cushion shaped diamond petals in platinum and gold. Size N.Accompanied by report number 06034 dated 20th July 2012 from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory, London stating that part~drilled rounded light brown pearl measures 7.6 ~ 8.2mm, weighs 3.43ct and is a natural saltwater pearl.
Veronica Whall (British, 1887-1967 or 1970), four designs for stained glass windows, including a design for All Saints Church, Valescupe, St Raphael, France and another for Chelsfield Church, Surrey, pencil, pen and watercolour on paper (4) Veronica Whall (1887 - 1967 or 1970) was an illustrator, painter and successful stained glass artist. She started working with her father Christopher Whall, a leader in the Arts and Crafts Movement in stained glass and took over the running of the studio, Whall & Whall, on his death in 1924. The studio closed in 1953 on her retirement. Whall & Whall made stained glass works for Churches and Cathedrals in England, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Her father's best regarded work is at Gloucester Cathedral. During 1918-1919 Veronica worked as an assistant for her father on a commission for the stained glass at All Saints in Valescure, south coast of France. An Anglican chapel was established in 1900 in Valescure for English visitors who came to the region for the winter season. In 1925, she worked on the designs of a window in the South Chancel for St Martin of Tours Church, Chelsfield, Kent. The left hand light shows St Martin on his horse, handing half his cloak to a beggar. The other light shows Martin kneeling before the Lord who is seen holding a piece of cloak. An example of Veronica Whall's work is shown in the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Stan Shaw exhibition pocket knife with mother-of-pearl grips,signed SS-80, fitted with eleven Wm Rodgers* folding tools including six knife blades of different profiles, saw, screwdriver, scissors, fleam, pick, of close plated steel, some stamped "I cut my way", in brass and nickel mounts, closed length 18cm, width 3.5cm. *Stan Shaw moved to Wm. Rodgers from Ibberson's in 1977. Condition report: Pearl, brass and nickel good; the return spring between the handles of the scissors is broken; the tool described as a pick may be a broken button-hook; the blades have some light discolouration or tarnish and there are some small spots of corrosion; all blades are stamped 05, five blades on one side are stamped "I cut my way", the six opposing blades are stamped Wm Rogers. Condition report: the brooch has vacant settings for three pairs of stones, the central pink stone has light surface scratching, gross weight 5.9g; a small rose-cut diamond is missing from one earring, both have a vacant loop at the finger tips, gross weight 11.6g.
