A Christian Dior couture sequined and embroidered tulle dance dress, circa 1955, un-dated white on black woven label, stamped to reverse '16089', strapless, with integral corset, Princess-line of pale grey tulle adorned with graduated bands of pearlised irridescent sequins and droplets, silver seed beads and rhinestone brilliants, bust 79cm, 31in, waist 59cm, 23in CONDITION REPORT: Overall impression is good. Would benefit from cleaning- top layer of tulle has peppering of small, faint, light brown stains in general and occasional pin-head sized hole, not immediately obvious. The front hem appears slightly more soiled. Rear left lower skirt: approx 2cmx0.5cm small hole to tulle. Rear right lower skirt: two small brown stains to lowest band of sequins and embroidery- largest is 2x1cm. One small hole in tulle, approx 1x1cm. Interior corset is yellowed. Embroidery and embellishment is good with occasional minor losses- very beautiful.
An Alexander McQueen nude chiffon evening gown, 'Irere' collection, Spring-Summer, 2003, woven grey label and size 40, the corsetted inner bodice covered with cross-over swathes of chiffon, floating panels with ragged edges to the shoulders and skirt, bust 86cm, 34in CONDITION REPORT: Front bodice edge is soiled and chiffon has slightly frayed, needs dry cleaning. Wear at underarms. Small lipstick mark on skirt front. Rear skirt panel needs re-stitching to side of zip. Plaited straps are frayed. Large light brown stain to one of the front skirt floating panels - may improve with cleaning.
A muslin dress with printed calico spencer, French, circa 1800, the simple dress cuffs and hem edged in ivory silk ribbons, narrow bodice drawstring ties to the back; the spencer printed in coral pink on blue, the narrow back with diamond-shaped panel and deep gathers to the inset sleeves (2) CONDITION REPORT: Spencer: good condition, very fresh, no problems. Dress: good condition, a few small pinholes to bodice, ivory satin ribbon edgings are good. Muslin is very light/diaphanous, a few small holes above rear hem, the odd pinhead sized hole but generally good condition. Very fresh and clean appearance.
A pink satin flapper dress, circa 1926, adorned with rhinestone and silver bugle bead flowers, central medallion with floating panel to skirt front, low back, bust 81-86cm, 32-34in; together with a pale blue crêpe de chine jacket with degradé fringes (2) CONDITION REPORT: Dress: brown stains to floating panels on skirt front, one small light brown stain to bodice front, brown stain to rear skirt at hemline. 2 small repairs to front waistband where satin has been patched and beading re-stitched. Chiffon lining at them has tears, gold lace at hem has occasional floating thread. Dress has been taken in at side seams of bodice. Beading is good, very sparkly, a few detached rhinestones. Jacket: faint perspiration stains at underarms, 1 or 2 fringes are frayed, a couple of small light brown stains, ends of some of the longest fringes are a bit grubby, not obvious, pinhead sized hole to right shoulder.
A Mariano Fortuny ivory silk Delphos gown, 1920-30, un-labelled, with short curving sleeves laced with Murano brown and white glass beads, bust approx 81-106cm, 32-42in, with an associated stencilled linen belt and spare silk laces; together with a sage-green and gold stencilled cotton jacket, 1950s, labelled 'Mariano Fortuny Venise, 509 Madison Ave, New York', bust approx 102cm, 40in (qty) CONDITION REPORT: Ivory Delphos: has several faint light brown stains to rear bodice, rear hem has darned repairs where silk has split and has been backed with silk gauze at this area, well done. One similar repair to right hem. A couple of very small splits to silk at front hem. Laces to sleeves are not original. Jacket: good condition. Has one brown stain to rear of right shoulder, 1cm diam, and two smaller stains on either side. Label has darned repairs and has been covered in silk gauze for conservation, well done. Belt is rubbed and faded.

Suede shoulder points are slightly rubbed, not immediately obvious. Right sleeve has 3 very small light brown spots (minor).
An Elizabeth Arden embroidered cocktail dress, late 1950s, labelled, of silver-grey organza, the bodice and skirt covered with undulating bands of silver bugle beads and silver thread fronds, pearlised sequin flowerheads and bands, the centre-back skirt panel with satin bows, bust 81cm, 32in, waist 56cm, 22in CONDITION REPORT: Good condition, slight rubbing to organza at underarms, inside bodice fresh and good. Beadwork is good with occasional losses. Bows at the back are slightly soiled, hem has been shortened but could be let down again. A few small light brown stains to rear hem area - not immediately noticeable.

Exterior leather is a bit grubby and would benefit from cleaning. Small pen mark to inside flap. Interior base is speckled with faint pink marks. Overall bag is quite fresh and good.
A Mariano Fortuny gold stencilled blue velvet dress, mid 1920s, circular label to silk lining 'Mariano Fortuny Venise', with gold stencilled foliate medallions, laced front neckline, Murano glass beads to cuffs and matching belt with later added rhinestone buckle, bust 117cm, 46in (2) CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. Belt buckle is not Fortuny but a 1920s-30s addition. Laces are fraying. Some soiling/discolouration to lining at neckline. 2 extremely faint and small light brown stains to rear right shoulder (minor).

Slightly dusty from storage, one small soil spot (minor) on green canvas.
