An Irish Masonic Past Master's Jewel, maker's mark GAG incuse, Dublin, 1946, formed as a square and compass centring the initial 'G', the square and initial engraved with Celtic knots, with suspension loop, the back engraved 'Presented to Bro E N F Gee PM, by Prince of Wales Lodge 222 1946', 9cm long. Fully marked on back. The marks are generally clear. There is some minor surface scratching and wear. The light blue suspension cord with some wear and with base metal attachments.
A Seal Fob, a light yellow stone engraved with initials, with a carved decorative mount, and A Seal Fob on Chain, the fob comprised of a purple foil backed stone with engraved initials in a scroll decorated fancy mount, on a snake link chain (3) . Overall good condition, some wear commensurate with age. Gross weight 54.5 grams. CR made 8th August 2019
A Victorian Parcel-Gilt Silver Bowl and Spoon, Glasgow, 1873, The Bowl by Edward and Sons, The Spoon With Differing Indistinct Maker's Mark, the bowl tapering and cast and chased with panels depicting the signs of the zodiac and deities, surrounded by foliage scrolls, the bowl engraved 'To William Neilson from Grandpapa Neilson 1873', the spoon engraved with initials 'WN', the bowl 12cm diam., 11oz (2) Provenance: It is possible that the present bowl and spoon were a christening present to William Neilson, the Scottish rugby player and later Barrister. Born near Glasgow on 18 August 1873 Neilson played rugby first for Merchiston and later Clare College, Cambridge before going on to play international rugby for Scotland. He was to become president of the Scottish Rugby Union in 1905 and served in the Highland Light Infantry in World War II. . The bowl is marked underneath and the spoon on back of handle. The bowl further engraved with design registration diamond. The bowl is lacking maker's mark but engraved 'Edward & Sons', The marks on the bowl are clear. The marks on the spoon have some wear. There is overall some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The parcel-gilding on the is somewhat pale.
A George V Silver Tray, by Atkin Bros., Sheffield, 1910, shaped oblong and with beaded rim, on four button feet, 60cm wide over handles, 81oz 1dwt. Wear to hallmarks. Light surface scratching commensurate with age and use. There is some slight wear to the border. The centre has probably been erased and is slightly thin.

Apart from the very visible damage no obvious signs of damage in the UV light. Various scuffs and damage to paint work apart from obvious damage.
Chamberlains Worcester Chocolate pot and cover painted with the Maid of Corinth by John Wood circa 1805 10cm high . Overall wear to the gilding and decoration. Very small losses to the edges of the interior rims.No significant damage or restoration detected but this has not been examined under UV light
19th century porcelain and gilt metal oil lamp ( converted to electric), with cut glass shade, 53cm . Glass shade in good order no chips or cracks. Porcelain body some light wear to decoration most noticeable to gilt but no other major faults found. base metal found has been drilled for electricity.

Overall condition good no repairs visible front or verso, no obvious signs of overpainting under UV light. Under UV light there are two pin head dots otherwise invisible. Japanese Meiji period carved ivory okimono, of an old man, a young child on his back holding a lantern or vessel, incised two character mark beneath oval base, 21.5cm high Condition: Light cracking to forehead of both figures plus a little discolouration. Edge chipping to leaf held in the mans left hand. Left arm of child has been reattached with old glue residue and cracking to same sleeve.
