CONTINENTAL SCHOOL (18TH CENTURY) CATTLE ON A HILLSIDE Oil on canvas, 49.5 x 62.5cm (19 1/2 x 24 1/2") Condition Report: The painting appears to have been lined and on close inspection there is light to moderate craquelure evident over much of the surface area being most noticeable over the upper left and upper middle left sections of the sky and the darker areas of the trees on the left and the foreground. There are a number of small dark spots in areas of the foreground and middle foreground and the varnish is quite evidently discoloured.

A VICTORIAN WHITE METAL LOCKET AND CHAIN the locket hallmarked Birmingham 1883, with spiral detail and floral engraving, dimensions 5cm x 3.5cm, the white metal chain with pierced design, length 47cm, weight 52.5gms Condition Report: Light general wear, some of the links might need a little tweek as they are a bit spiky.
AN 18CT WHITE GOLD ART DECO STYLE TOURMALINE AND DIAMOND RING the tourmaline is bi-colour blue/green and bright green, approx dimensions 8.8mm x 7.5mm x 4.7mm, with the step cut shoulders set with eight cut diamonds. Finger size L, weight 5gms Condition Report: Nice clean tourmaline, well cut to show the bi colour, very light abrasions to the upper facets, mount light general wear. Diamonds bright and clean by eye, very tiny carbon spots and a few surface reaching inclusions.
JAMES KAY RSA, RSW (SCOTTISH 1858-1942) IN TOW ON THE CLYDE Gouache and watercolour, signed, 16.5 x 24cm (6 1/2 x 9 1/2") Inscribed with title on Kilmarnock Fine Art Exhibition label verso Condition Report: There is a small area of tiny loose particles located bottom edge at middle and other tiny loose particles located in the area in proximity to the bottom left hand corner with there being a few tiny dots of foxing showing in this area. A small loose particle and a light foxing mark located in the bottom right corner area and another small particle and a few tiny foxing dots top left corner area. Discolouration of the paper to degrees is perhaps evident in small areas of the sky where there is no pigment but otherwise fits in with the tonal mood of the work.
•RALSTON GUDGEON RSW (SCOTTISH 1910-1984) GOLDEN EAGLE; OTTER AND SALMON Gouache and watercolour, signed, 51 x 76cm (20 x 30"), 50 x 63cm (19 1/2 x 24 3/4") (2) Condition Report: GOLDEN EAGLE. Creasing around the edges and in proximity to left edge, small tears at intervals down the right edge, a few slightly larger at the bottom edge and two at the left edge. A few small marks to be found here and there. OTTER AND SALMON. Eight or so dark marks noticeable in the right half section and a tear, approx. 3.5cm in length, at the bottom edge in the same section. A light to moderate score mark, approx 11cm in length, an abrasive damage mark, approx. 2cm in length and a few spots of tiny light foxing, all within the bottom left hand quarter section. Two light score line marks located in the top left hand quarter section.

A thin fragment of wood missing from the surface, approx. 7 by 2,5cm, and some general light scarring of the wood on the reverse side and on the top of the head.
AN OPAL AND DIAMOND CRESCENT MOON BROOCH largest opal approx 4.3mm, diamonds estimated approx 0.36cts combined. Length 4.1cm, weight 4.4gms Condition Report: One of the smaller opals has a small chip only visible with a loope, all well matched. Diamonds bright and sparkly with a loop some clear feather type inclusions and a tiny cleavage fractures not polished out, pin and mount light general wear in original box.
AN 18CT WHITE GOLD TANZANITE AND DIAMOND DRESS RING with insurance documents that state the pear shaped tanzanite is estimated approx at 4.35cts, the bezel, shank and shoulders are set with brilliant cut diamonds to an estimated approx total of 0.87cts, finger size M1/2, weight 6.8gms. Insurance valuation at £4200 Condition Report: A few flea bite chips to the surface of the tanzanite, a good deep blue purple colour, all diamonds in situ. Light general wear tot he mount.

ATTRIBUTED TO WILLIAM EVANS OF ETON RSW (BRITISH 1798-1877) IN THE HIGHLANDS Watercolour, 66 x 92cm (26 x 36") Condition Report: On inspection yellow/brown discolouration in the paper is apparent along the top and down the right edges next to th mount. Generally some very light foxing marks, most notably the middle sky area and what appears to be one larger one in the area of water in front of the bridge. The paper has a slight wave.

Generally throughout slight discolouration of varnish and some tiny dark spots.

A Victorian brass mounted rosewood toilet box, second half of the 19th century, the fitted interior containing an arrangement of jars and bottles with silver plate mounts, the lock stamped 'S.Mordan & Co London', 30.5cm wide A split to the back of cover, fading to the sides and back. Tab missing from leather on lower drawer. One glass jar lacking, mounts with light wear. Detachable mirror to interior present. Some general wear to the interior.
A conical glass saddle flask in leather case CONDITION REPORTS The glass has some light surface scratches. There are accretions and some staining to the inside of the flask. Some tarnishing to the silver top, a dent to the top of the cap, a very small nibble to the inside rim of the glass flask. The leather case has light surface scratches, some scuffs, knocks, some fading and discolouration and accetions. Some wear to the leather hinge and wear to the leather cap where it has been slgihtly squashed down. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details
An Austrian cold-painted bronze dog mounted on an onyx hinge-lidded box, together two similar mounted onyx ashtrays CONDITION REPORTS The onyx box has a chip to the corner of the lid. Surface scratches, accretions, etc. The cold-painted dog has some wear to the paint and some minor scuffs, etc. The onyx ashtray with the spaniel has some light surface scratches and some small nibbles to the edge of the onyx. A couple of small chips to the bottom edge too. The spaniel has areas of loss to the paint and surface scratches, scuffs, etc. The white onyx ashtray has surface scratches, scuffs, etc. The cold-painted spaniel has some areas of loss to the paint, scuffs and scraches, etc. The onyx ashtray with the liver and white spaniel - the spaniel is slightly loose.
