A pair of Chinese Kangxi "Vung Tau Cargo" bowls and saucers with panels of hatched foliage and flowers, bearing patched ribbon tied lozenge mark to base within blue concentric rings, 11 cm x 6.5 cm, saucer 16 cm diameter, together with three various Chinese polychrome decorated saucers and a Japanese Satsuma figural decorated saucer (8) CONDITION REPORTS Both saucers from the Vung Tau Cargo have hairline cracks and some chips to the undersides. Both bowls also have significant hairline cracks. All bear old Christies labels, are dirty and in need of a clean. The polychrome decorated saucer with the birds and floral sprays has hairline cracks and chips. The Imari palette smaller saucer has been broken in half and repaired as well as repairs elsewhere in the saucer. Has chips throughout. The saucer with the figures has some roughness to the edge, has significant wear to the inside and the Satsuma saucer has a star crack to the base and some light wear to the decoration throughout. All have wear and tear conducive with age and use to include firing faults etc and are in need of a good clean - see images for more details
An early 20th Century Austrian frosted pink glass figure of a hawk as a scent bottle with gilt metal mounts on a clear frosted glass and bakelite embellished gilt brass base stamped to underside "Made in Austria", the gilt brass cover with central clear and frosted glass stick and Chinese style silk tassels, 18 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Two feathers have cut like marks in them but they don't appear to be chips. There is an area of discolouration to the back of one of the clear frosted glass rectangles on the base. The black pieces are all loose and one is crack and re glued. There are two bruises to the inside of the neck. The scent applicator has been broken at the end and re-glued into the top. General wear and tear conducive to age and use include some small marks, light surface scratching and in need to a good clean. See images for more details.

Grouping of Early Victorian Commission Documents of Robert Cooper Sawbridge 8th and 10th Light Dragoons, the first as Cornet 8th Regt of Light Dragoons dated 28th July 1854, the second Lieutenant 8th Regt of Light Dragoons dated 10th August 1855, the third captain 8th Light dragons 6th August 1858 and the forth Captain 10th Light dragoons 8th October 1858. All housed in black leather wallet case which is embossed with gilt tooled Victorian royal coat of Arms. The commissions have been folded but are generally good condition.
WW1 German Mauser 98/05 Bayonet, with two piece wooden grip, steel pommel and unusual upside down and backwards steel cross guard. Housed in its steel scabbard with frog stud. Swollen blade with fuller to the back edge. Spine with acceptance stamp and ’16’ for 1916 issue. Blade by ‘WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A.G OBERNDORF a.M’. Some surface staining to the scabbard and light wear but generally good condition.
A single Victory medal to a member of the 20th (Wearside) Battalion Durham Light infantry who weas killed in action during the attack on the opening day of the 3rd Battle of Ypres. Victory medal, “23431 PTE. E. LEES DURH. L.I.” Ernest Lees, from Longton, Staffordshire was killed in action on 31st July 1917 on the opening day of the 3rd Battle of Ypres when the Battalion attacked in the Klein Zillebeke area and suffered Other Rank casualties of 18 killed, 153 wounded and 73 missing. His body was not recovered, and he is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial.
