Phil Bates (Electric Light Orchestra) - Washburn J-10 arch top electric guitar, ser. no. 95020013, 20 fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone position markers, honey burst finish hollow body with matching pickguard and one pickup, gold hardware, hard case *This guitar was previously owned by Phil Bates of Electric Light Orchestra and was used for many performances and recordings. The guitar is illustrated with Phil Bates on the cover of his `Naked` album. A signed copy of this album is included, as well as a certificate of authenticity issued by City Music Ltd which is also signed by Phil Bates
Four various Corgi die cast Aviation Archive models to include English Electric Lightning F.MK.II, De Havilland Vampire FB.5, Hurricane MKI (No. 87 Sqn), Junkers JU-87 Stuka, fourteen various Matchbox Collectibles Edition die cast vehicles to include Hellcat, Wirbelwind Horsedrawn Wagon, Supermarine Spitfire, North American Mustang, Curtis Warhawk, Sherman M4, Panza IV, Churchill MK-VII tank, four various Fina by Corgi die cast vehicle to include VW Beetle, Morris Minor, 2CV, Mini, Fina Mini, a Del Prado Osprey Aviation 1:100 scale model of "The Spitfire" and various other die cast vehicles CONDITION REPORTS All items have some general wear, particularly to boxes, scuffing at edges and light wear throughout, however they do seem to have been quite well cared for and are in reasonable condition.. Cannot guarantee all parts are present, as there are some sections in the plastic containers which do not currently have parts in and which may or may not have had parts in originally. AA numbers as follows : AA49104, AA37303, AA32501, AA32302. Other Matchbox items do not seem to have AA numbers but are marked as follows in pen : War Hawk P40E, Horse Drawn Wagon Hershey's Chocolate, Sherman M4 A3, Panzer IV. a T34/76 Tank, a North American P-5ID, a Wirbelwind, Churchill MK-VII Tank, a Hellcat, a Super Marine MK1A, a Change Vought, a Lockheed P381 Lightning, a Panzer IV, a Sherman M4 A3, and a loose box of various old toys in poor condition.
Five boxes of Corgi die cast Aviation Archives "Falklands 20th Anniversary" models to include BAEC Harrier (809 Sqn), Handley Page Victor K.2 (No. 55 Squadron), Avro Vulcan B2-XM597, Lockheed C-130K Hercules, and Westland Sea King HAS.2 (825 Sqn) CONDITION REPORTS AA numbers as follows : AA32406, AA31202, AA31603, AA31305, AA33401. All appear to have some light wear to boxes, minor scuffs to corners, edges, etc. There are certainly spaces in the boxes where there probably should be additional items e..g in Falklands BAEC Harrier. Cannot guarantee that any of the items are complete.
A Doulton Lambeth stoneware baluster shaped jug by Mark V. Marshall, tube-lined in bands of blue, green and brown, with beaded borders, impressed and incised mark "MVM, 183", 21 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Appears to be in overall sound condition, with some light wear. to the base of the foot there are a couple of small pin head size nibbles to edge, otherwise appears OK.
A Royal Doulton stoneware jardiniere, the sides decorated with stylised mask heads and grotesques amidst roundels and ovals inscribed "Kia Ora" on a pale blue mottled ground within green and blue mottled borders, incised and impressed marks to base, 12 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Overall light general wear and scuffs. Some uneveness to the potting - particularly to the lip/rim which is not perfectly round and is slightly mis-shapen. Some firing blemishes. Some firing cracks beneath the glaze to the applied decoration, but overall appears sound.
A late 19th / early 20th Century Vienna porcelain charger, titled "Agamemnon im Zweikampf mit Achilles", a study of Classical figures in an interior, signed "C Forster", within an Aesthetic style gilt border and puce ground outer border, titled and bearing black shield mark to base, 37 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS Shows some general wear throughout particularly to the underside, has general scuffs and marks conducive with age (please see photo of base), charger has some minor rubbing and some very light wear but overall appears to be in sound condition.
A George IV silver cream jug of rectangular bellied form, the edge with gadrooned border with embossed and engraved floral decoration, raised on a floral and leaf decorated apron to four paw feet, with gilt-wash interior (by Thomas Wilkes Barker, London 1826), 5.8 oz CONDITION REPORTS Has some light rubbing throughout, some scratches throughout, and some quite deep scratches to base, marks are quite rubbed and there are some dents particularly to the edge round the top of the jug, shows general signs of wear conducive to age.
