A gentlemen's stainless steel International Watch Co. 'Pilot Spitfire Fliegeruhr UTC IW 325/02 Automatic' bracelet watch,with a circular case 39mm diameter, with a black dial, white Arabic numerals and batons, dual time zone at '12', luminous hands and date aperture. Case no.2773950. Watch case and outer box, worn, two spare links. Paperwork - pre owned purchase receipt available to view.From the collection of Commander Peter John Linstead-Smith, past master of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers.Condition report: The case is very tatty and the faux leather interior has badly deteriorated. These black pieces are slightly sticky and some have stuck to the glass of the watch. I have cleaned them off and re-photographed it.No obvious marks to the glass.No marks to the dial.Minor marks to the bezel, more scratches between 12 and 2.Some marks to the case back.Light scuffs to the clasp, but in working condition.No obvious faults.No damage to the bracelet.There is no paperwork and we do not know the date of this watch.

The hinged back case, 48.50mm diameter, with a black dial, silver Roman numerals and chapter ring, subsidiary dial at '3' and luminous spade hands. Hand engraved case back with a monogram 'P FA'. On an after market nylon strap. Case no. 20253 148. Serial no. 5735058. Calibre no. 37.9. No box or papersCondition report: The watch is accompanied by the copy of an email from Longines, dated 26/07/2011.It confirms the wristwatch was in metal with a leather band. Longines movement, calibre 37.9. The watch was invoiced to Messrs Oster Setzer in Milan, Longines agents in Italy on 09/01/1939.Our own research suggests this was a prototype produced in early 1939, from conversions of pocket watches to strap/wristwatches.Light surface marks to the case.More at the opening lip.The lugs are a little more crude, consistent with this being the transition from open faced pocket watch to wristwatch.Light surface wear to the hinged back.Scratches to inside case at cuvette, more at lip. A bit chewed.

Each earring composed of three arched, graduated rows of old European cut, brilliant cut and baguette cut diamonds, claw, grain and channel set to a diamond set hoop. A detachable three row waterfall drop of rub set baguette cut diamonds in articulated collets, each culminating in a claw set graduated, old brilliant cut diamond. Concealed box clasp fittings with post and spring earring fittings. Tested as approximately platinum and 9ct white gold. 47mm long, 24mm without drops, 20.52g. A single row graduated baroque cultured pearl necklace,with a white gold diamond set clasp. A single row of nineteen graduated cultured pearls, 10.4 to 13.4mm in size, in shades of light cream to taupe, strung knotted to a barrel-shaped box clasp. Three arched rows of grain set brilliant cut diamonds, with two rows of tapered baguette cut diamonds, channel set between, possibly fancy yellow, with a later safety chain. Tested as approximately 18ct gold. 454mm long approximately, 82.76gCondition report: Stringing secure.A few of the pearls have worn or missing nacre at the points of the tails, creating darker or black areas.Clasp secure with additional safety chain.Light surface marks to the clasp - clasp secure.Stringing - in wearable condition, with some movement to the first cultured pearl on the box end.Some of the cultured pearls have areas where the nacre has worn through, i.e. the tip of the tails.

A NAPOLEONIC FRENCH PRISONER-OF-WAR BONE MODEL FOR THE 74-GUN 3RD RATE ILLUSTRIOUS, CIRCA 1810 the 5½in. planked and pinned hull with polychrome warrior figurehead, finely carved stern with polychrome royal arms and quarter galleries, three rows of guns with painted port lids, plain deck with simple fittings, bound masts with standing and running rigging, yards and stunsl booms, blocks and tackle, ship's boat suspended over well deck and stern, fighting tops with red screens, mounted on inlaid wooden base with bone urn corner finials and feet, to light green plush base with legend and glass dome cover, model overall -- 8 x 9in. (20.5 x 23cm.); dome 11½ x 12in. (29 x 30.5cm.)
