A helmet and cuirass for Officers. of the Russian Line Cuirassiers, after 1812. High leather helmet M 1808 with crest and black horse hair brush. Fire gilded furniture. Front plate with attached double eagle. Convex chinstrap (incomplete, backing replaced). Height with brush 40 cm. The thin helmet body somewhat creased, the interior restored and reinforced, the lining renewed, with small defects and repairs on the exterior. The light cuirass M 1812 of blackened iron and with blackened scales, the edges bordered with leather and decorated with red cord. Attached large, gilded double eagle. €6,000.00
A Papacha for General Adjutants. Russia, 2nd half of 19th century. White lamb's skin, red top with violet threads through gold lace. Stamped cockade, silver star of the Order of St.Andrew with enameled medallion and Cyrillic maker's mark "N.B." as well as St.Petersburg fineness mark for "84 zolotniki" (1865-96). Light sweat leather with collection number "7", beige silkrep lining (small damage), golden Cyrillic monogram "P.R." under an Imperial Russian crown on the top. Extremely rare. Because of the monogram it could only have been the property of a member of the Russian high nobility. €5,000.00

Mark of fineness "56". 22 x 65 x 95 mm, 121 g. Red gold, vaulted shape with grooved exterior surfaces and smooth interior. Hidden spring closure. On the cover the monogram "NII" in light blue guilloched enamel set in a medallion with a continuous border of diamonds and a tasseled hanging with diamond rosettes (one missing). A pair of epaulettes for the class I to III uniform for a top ranking court official (State's Ministers, State's Councilors, Ministerial Directors, Principal Secretaries etc.). Gold embroidery, silver embroidered crown on a light blue velvet background, dark blue backing cloth, stiff gold fringe. Very clean, impeccable condition, with a protective case. A cocked hat of black mohair felt with gold lace chin strap attachments on a blue/white silkrep ribbon, made by J.Zehme, Munich. A double edged small sword, blued, etched and gilt with gilt bronze hilt and mother of pearl grip scales. The blade cut off at 65 cm. Splitting on the reverse grip scale. €1,000.00

The emblem and convex chin scales with cloverleaf rosettes gilt (faded in areas). Metal cockades. Red-gilt trefoil fitting with fluted, silvered point. A Staff Officer's cuirass breastplate. Saxon Cuirassiers, circa 1720. Heavy, blackened, iron breastplate with slight central ridge, two moveable taces and surrounding brass rivets. Remnants of red paint on the edges. Affixed to it is the large crowned gilt monogram "AR" of the Saxon Elector and Polish King Friedrich August I., August the Strong (reigned 1694-1733, Polish King after 1697) surrounded by trophies. Interior lining of light chamois leather, edged with blue-green velvet. Height 45 cm. €6,000.00
An Ibero-Celtic bronze helmet. 4th to 3rd century B.C. Wrought out of thin sheet bronze, the (deformed and partially restored) bowl flat with a small avantail, the forehead protection with three arched eyebrow cut-outs and continuing over the ears, at the sides holes for affixing the (missing) cheek pieces. H 12.5 cm = 4.9 in, W 295 g. In light-green patina, the metal surface exposed in spots, much restored, and very rare. €3,500.00
