1967 Honda CB77, 305cc. Registration number RWF 343E. Frame number CB77 104204. Engine number CB77E 107557. Sold with the V5C, workshop manual and key. With specifications that would have been the exclusive preserve of exotic racing machinery only a few years earlier, the sports roadsters that began to be introduced by Japanese manufacturers in the early 1960s seemed tailor-made for production racing. One of the first to make its mark in this increasingly popular and important branch of motorcycle sport was the Honda CB72, an overhead-camshaft ‘250’. Introduced in 1960, the twin-cylinder CB72 produced 24bhp at 9,000rpm and weighed just 337lbs, an excellent power-to-weight ratio the endowed the supremely well-specified ‘CB’ with a level of performance challenging that of many British 500s. More powerful yet scarcely any heavier, its close relative - the 305cc CB77 - was the first Honda to make an impact in the middleweight class. Essentially an over-bored CB72, the CB77 arrived in Britain in 1963 and like its quarter-litre predecessor was soon making its presence felt on the racetracks. RWF is a recent import from the USA, our deceased vendor being the first UK owner. He recommissioned it before his untimely passing but it will need further light recommissioning before road use. Sold with the V5C, workshop manual and key.this bike comes from a deceased estate and has not been started for at least 6 months, I have not heard it running and not tried to start it. The vendor had 6 bikes that we are selling on behalf of his widow, they were all runners before he passed away

Along with the rival Lambretta, the Piaggio-built Vespa mobilised an entire generation of Italians in the immediately post-war years, the hitherto humble scooter going on to become part of British youth culture in the 1960s as favourite transport of the fashion-conscious 'Mods'. Douglas built the Vespa under licence in the UK between 1951 and 1963, continuing to import the machine from Italy thereafter. YCY was bought as a shop display. Last running a year ago it will require a light recommissioning before use. Sold with the V5C and keys.
1970 Lotus Seven twin cam, 1588cc. Registration number AVK 800J. Chassis number S4 2789GT. Engine number unknown. Sold with the V5C, old MOT's, three spare wheels and a key The Lotus Seven Series 3 was discontinued in 1970, after a production run of two years, during which 350 were built. The Series 4 was introduced in March 1970 and ran until August 1973, with a believed 66 built. The Series four was more boxy and larger, the steel space frame and aluminium body were replaced by a chassis with a steel backbone, as used in the Lotus Elan, and a fibreglass body shell, the bonnet was hinged. Two engines were available the Ford Kent Crossflow 1600 cc with two different carbs or the 1558cc Lotus Twin Cam with twin 40DCOE Weber carburettors in standard Special Equipment tune (115bhp). This cost £1245. Several options were available including Lotus seat belts, roll over bar, screen washer and light weight alloy wheels. AVK has had 5 former keepers, the last one being our deceased vendors business, it bought it in 1986, changing to his name in 1990. There are MOT's on file from 1988 at 58,752 miles, through to the last in 2004 at 58,983 when it parked up in his garage. The car was sold as UK kit spec, leaving the works on the 3rd October 1970, painted blue with a Ford Crossflow engine, 8 gallon petrol tank and 5 1/2J wheels, at some point the engine was changed to the current Lotus Twin Cam. Now in need of restoration this rare car will make a very worthwhile project. Sold with the V5C, old MOT's, three spare wheels and a keyThe chassis appears to be in good condition with only the odd bit of surface rust, it has been dry stored

Introduced for 1959, successor D7 model - known as the Bantam Super - featured the 172cc engine while boasting a new frame, hydraulically damped front fork, bigger brakes and up-swept handlebars. 1966 BSA C15G, 250cc. Registration number LDA 2D. Frame number painted over. Engine number C15G 171. Sold with the V5C and a key. This newcomer, the C15, featured a compact overhead-valve engine and unitary four-speed gearbox. Alternator electrics and coil ignition were features, early models being distinguished by a distributor-type points housing. The engine/gearbox unit was housed in a conventional cradle frame with bolt-on rear subframe. The C15G was produced from 1966 to 1967 and was the last version of the C15 engine with the ball bearing timing side main bearing, roller drive side and strengthened crankcases, larger oil pump and needle roller gearbox layshaft bearings.
