An automaton modelled as a female Pierrot, for restoration with composite hands, dressed in light pink outfit with bells and rattle, electrically powered, on velvet lined square plinth base, height approx 84cm (af). Additional InformationHas not been tested by this auction house, no guarantee of working order. Electricity and wiring will need to be re-done. The left hand first two finger have both been broken off and reglued. The rattle stem has been broken in two. Holes, fraying and discolouration to the outfit, further surface scuffs to the face. The curl at the end of the right boot has been broken off and lost. In general heavy wear throughout, in need of extensive attention.

ROYAL DOULTON; a 'Monks in Cellar' series jug, designed by Charles Noke with transferred signature to one side, marked 'Disby' (possibly) with factory and 'US Patent June 5th 1906' marks and registration number 466627 to base, height 20.5cm.Additional InformationFiring crack and further glaze flaws to interior, manufacturing imperfections throughout with some pitting and fritting. Imperfections in the transferred decoration, again a manufacturing imperfection to the handle, otherwise light surface wear and dirt.

ROYAL WORCESTER; a pair of spill vases with pierced tops and bodies decorated with cattle by John Stinton, both signed, blue printed marks to bases, height 14.5cm (one badly af), sold with original receipt from Quarry Antiques dated 1989.Additional InformationOne of the vases is cracked through its entire body, has a section of the pierced gallery broken off with two pieces still present, wear to the gilding and surface scratches. The second vase has a 2mm firing flaw to the rim, light surface scratches and losses to gilding.

Additional InformationMaker's mark to the body partially rubbed, lid a little misshapen so does not sit flush on the body all the way round, further general wear and light indentations, nicks and marks.
CARR'S OF SHEFFIELD LTD; an Elizabeth II hallmarked silver mounted rectangular photo frame, Sheffield 2002, 15 x 11.5cm.Additional InformationSilver with some light scratches and tarnish, the blue velvet-type backing somewhat stained and discoloured with some fraying - particularly to the corners and edges.
WINDMILLS OF LONDON; a late 17th/early 18th century silver and tortoiseshell triple cased pocket watch, the outer tortoiseshell case with silver stud decoration enclosing a simple inner second case and the watch with bull's eye domed glass, white enamel dial set with Roman numerals, Arabic seconds numerals, steel beetle and poker hands and inscribed 'Windmills London', the movement signed and no.16763, with pierced and engraved masked cock centred with a diamond, silver regulator disc and engraved detail throughout, the later cases hallmarked for London 1789, dial diameter 3.6cm, outer case diameter 5.8cm.Additional InformationThe white enamel dial has an area of damage beneath the six numeral which obscures the outer seconds numerals and is a thin chip running approx 5mm x 13mm. There are also very light surface scratches and tiny nibbles to the edge of the enamel dial. The watch ticks when wound, some light surface scratches to the silver case and the second inner case. The tortoiseshell outer case has surface scratches, a 4mm x 6mm bruise to one edge. The front rim has split in several places and is missing three of the studs.
ALLEN WALKER; a fine 18th century 18ct yellow gold triple case verge pocket watch, the outer shagreen case with gilt metal stud decoration enclosing a stunning repoussé second case with decoration in the style of George Michael Moser, the watch with white enamel dial set with Roman numerals, Arabic minute markers, pierced hands, bull's eye domed glass and with movement signed and no.919, with pierced and engraved masked cock set with a bearded profile of a gentleman beneath wings and an urn of flowers, silver regulator disc and with square baluster pillars, the case hallmarked for London 1786 and with matching serial no.919, dial diameter 3.5cm, outer case diameter 5.3cm.Additional InformationThe white enamel dial has an area of damage around three o'clock. This is a slither of repair to the rim approx 11mm x 2mm slightly obscuring the 15 minute marker. There is also a fine crack just inside this area indicating this could have been a slither chip. There are two very fine small hairline cracks around the 7 marker. Other light surface scratches to the dial. The movement ticks when wound. Some light scratches to the inner case, the repoussé decorated case has three minute pinholes to the decoration on the raised points. The shagreen case has some tiny areas of damage commensurate with age. It is missing four of the applied gilt metal dots near where the spring is and the outer case contains remnants of watch papers and silk.
EDWARD PRIOR OF LONDON; a mid-19th century quadruple cased pocket watch made for the Ottoman market, the domed engraved outer case enclosing a tortoiseshell silver and stud decorated second case, plain third case with simple bands of detail and the watch with domed glass above white enamel dial set with Turkish numerals, inscribed 'Edward Prior London' and with beetle and poker hands, the movement signed Edw. Prior, London, no.66841, with pierced engraved balance cock, silver regulator disc and tulip columns, the watch and third case hallmarked for London 1851, the outer case with Turkish hallmark, diameter of dial 3.1cm, diameter of outer case 6.6cm.Additional InformationThe white enamel dial is in good order with just minor surface scratches, the movement ticks when wound, light wear only to the main watch. The next case closes tightly, has again light surface scratches but basically OK. The tortoiseshell case is missing three of the inset dots, also has a small area of damage and fine crack, light surface scratches otherwise. The Turkish outer case has an area of unsightly solder repair, mainly viewable underneath but right to the tip of the dome you can see where the case has split in the past. The hinge is also slightly loose on the outer case and there is an old watch paper to the watch.
NEW ENGLAND WATCH CO; a white metal crown wind skeletonised pocket watch set with Arabic numerals to the dial and with subsidiary seconds dial and glazed front and back, the movement stamped N.E.W.Co, diameter 5.27cm.Additional InformationTicks when wound, the case is unmarked, light surface scratches.
CYMA; a gold plated Art Deco crown wind slim open face pocket watch, the silvered dial with Arabic numerals and with subsidiary seconds hand, the fifteen jewelled movement no.295501, diameter 4.8cm.Additional InformationTicks when wound. LIght surface scratches to the case but overall in good condition.
