There is a very light superficial scratch crossing the face of the mouse hiding underneath the blue skirt in the lower right corner. The paint on one of the guard's feet appears speckled and we believe this to be intentional rather than a condition issue- the light speckles appear to have been painted on top rather than an issue with thinning or over cleaning. A little light surface dust with some small speckles of surface dirt and minor superficial scuffs to the background. Retouching to the left of the steam at the centre of the top edge. UV light shows small spots of retouching to tracks lower centre. There is a small mark to the reverse of the canvas which on close examination to the corresponding area on the front appears to be a tiny repaired tear. Please see additional condition images.
