Items of Worcester Compagnie des Indes pattern porcelain fluted tea wares, circa 1775, comprising two coffee cups and saucers, a tea bowl and saucer and a two-handled chocolate cup and saucer, painted with famille rose flowers within gilt leaf wreaths, the rims with shaped turquoise ground borders edged with Kakiemon style flowers and red diaper panelsOne of the handles to the chocolate cup has been restored. Small niggles to the footrim on the larger saucer - possibly factory faults. Usual light wear to gilding, epspecially the sprigs of one of the smaller saucers
Marmaduke Cradock (British, 1660-1717) A peacock, pheasant, pigeons and other birds in a landscapeoil on canvas47 x 57.5cmThe painting is executed in oil on a canvas support which appears to be lined. The canvas tension is slightly slack and there are minor undulations across the surface. The paint layers are in a stable condition overall. The network of age craquelure is slightly raised in areas but secure. The varnish has yellowed with age but is even and semi-glossy with a light layer of surface dirt present. Minor retouching is present covering age cracks.

Approx one inch of abrasion (very shallow chip) to the rim and another very small chip to the rim. Some light areas of pitting to the interior. A one inch hairline crack to the interior and a factory fault to the left of the man to the central scene.

Around the signature there are lighter areas which are part of the artist’s technique rather than abrasion and are visible in other areas of the picture.

Tear right hand edge approx 9cm long. Repaired hole left hand edge approx 3cm in from the edge, approx 1cm across. Tear or crease where ground colour is now missing top edge approx 1cm. Panel two: crease or tear to right hand edge approx 4cms. Some mottling to the blue ground colour (see images)Panel three - forked tear right hand edge approx 5cms long, tear from top edge down approx 7cm, some mottling to ground colour (see images)General - Surface has rubbing and light abrasion to areas where there are paper joins or anomalies in the paper giving patinated texture consistent with age. Overall tone of the blue gouache ground is uneven. These may have been rolled at some point and rubbing to the blue ground indicates this, with some lateral creasing evident on all three panelsPlease see further images of these wonderful panels
