Waffen-SS Officers Brocade Belt and Buckle, fine bullion wire embroidered officers dress brocade belt with runes and oakleaves on green felt backing with brown leather tab. Aluminium officers belt buckle with RZM and SS runes markings to the reverse. Belt is complete with the end keeper tab and the cloth securing straps. Some light mothing to the green felt backing but generally a very good example of a rare belt and buckle.

Contact marks to the first group.
1934 English 1st Edition Book “Germany Reborn” by General (Hermann) Goering, complete with the original dust jacket having photograph of Hermann Goring in Reichswehr uniform. Published by Elkin Matthews & Marrot Ltd, London. 160 printed pages, some light foxing but generally appears in good condition.
1938 Royal Air Force “Bombay Bowler” Foreign Service Helmet, fine khaki cloth covered cork bodied helmet with twelve fold cloth pagri having RAF ribbon to the side. Interior with leather sweatband and cloth lining system. Paper manufactures label to the inside with clear 1938 date. Thin brown leather chinstrap still attached to the helmet. Shows light signs of service wear but overall a very nice example.
Scarce Air Transport Auxiliary Officers Field Service Cap, unusual example in light blue cloth with bullion embroidered ATA insignia to a blue square which has been stitched to the cap. Black cord piping to the cap and two plain cloth covered buttons. Blue cloth lining to the interior with black sweatband. Cap shows service wear and has some areas of cloth missing, mostly at the front of the cap.

Very Rare Great War Turkish Other Ranks Headdress “Kabalak”, of crudely constructed beige heavy folded cloth with padded cloth lining to the interior. Some staining and wear to the interior of the headdress. Accompanying the item is a archive of original paperwork and personal items belonging to a Private Albert Knee who served with the Oxford & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry during WW1 and who took this item as a souvenir, possibly from a Turkish Prisoner of War. Private Albert Knee served with the 8th Service Battalion Ox & Bucks Light Infantry who were raised in Oxford in October 1914. Originally serving on the Western Front before being transferred to Salonika. The battalion served as a Pioneer battalion of the 26th Division. The unit was present at the Battle of Doiran. After the Armistice the battalion moved to Mustapha Pasha, on the borders of Turkey and later Constantinople where we would assume he acquired this item of headdress.

Royal Marine Light Infantry Dress Tunic, being a pre WW1 example. Scarlet cloth with dark navy blue facings. Embroidered globes within wreaths to the shoulder boards. Brass Royal Marines Light Infantry buttons to the front, cuffs, reverse and shoulders. Bullion embroidered signallers and gunners badge to the sleeve along with two good conduct chevrons. Tunic with ink stampings to the interior including the original owners name and number, “CH 14767 A. UNDERWOOD”. One button detached but present, otherwise good overall condition.

Third Reich R.A.D Labour Service Regimental Standarte / Flag, being a fine example complete with the original pole top and streamers. The flag is of high quality red cloth base with large central swastika having embroidered RAD shovel emblem to the centre within enclosed wreath. To three edges of the flag is silver twist cord fringing which remains perfectly intact. To the top corner is embroidered separate panel with “Feldmarschall Melander” in gothic script. The flag is the exact same on the other side. Accompanying the flag is the original aluminium pole top in the form of RAD insignia with large swastika to the centre and stamped to the throat piece RJAD in triangle to one side and P to the other side. Also accompanying the flag is an original pair of the flags streamers in cloth with silver bullion wire ends. The set has been mounted onto a replacement pole for display, this set is not able to be removed from this pole. Some very light areas of scattered moth but generally a very good example of a scarce regimental standarte. The flag measures 107 x 119 cms (not including fringing), streamers measure 92cms (including fringing) and pole with top measure 238cms.
