An Italian polychrome maiolica albarello, 17th Century, inscribed LoC De PINO, 20cm high, and a 19th Century faience bottle painted in blue with foliate and geometric bands 24cm high CONDITION REPORT: The arabello has extensive cracks and two filled chips. The blue and white bottle with eight glaze chips (some possibly firing flaws). Light chipping to rim and a filled footrim chip.
An early Victorian Nixon & Son Windsor breakfast cup, saucer and plate, enamelled and gilt with crowned garter and motto 'Honi Soit Qui Mal y Pense', printed mark to base Nixon & Son, Windsor/Windsor Castle CONDITION REPORT: The cup with a scratch to the front. The saucer with extensive hairline cracks. The plate with two hairline cracks circling the well and two faint hairline cracks from rim. All with light crazing, the enamels and gilding good, although the saucer has had a small retouch on the garter buckle.
A Russian plate, circa 1860, Popov factory, painted flowers on a brown ground, 25cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: Good condition, no damages or repairs. Light rubbing in places on gilt rim. There is a dimple to the glaze in the white area. There is some orange discolouration beneath but this seems to clean away when rubbed.
A Paris porcelain part coffee service, circa 1810, decorated matt blue acanthus and gilt, comprising a coffee pot, milk jug, slop bowl and four cups and saucers CONDITION REPORT: The pot spout with a small chip to tip and a break (glued). The bowl with two rim chips, each with an associated crack and further hairline cracks in base. The jug in good condition. One cup with broken and glued handle. Another cup with a crack to top handle terminal. Two cups in good condition , one with lightly stained glaze crazing. Three saucers each with a faint star crack to centre. Light crazing wear.
A Riley's stone china blue and white plate, transfer printed a country house in a landscape, 25.5cm diameter and three other blue and white plates CONDITION REPORT: The Riley's plate has a rim chip at 2 and 4 o'clock, approximately 25.5cm diameter. The plate with the ruined church and shepherd is crazed and stained, approximately 25cm diameter. The other two without damage but light stained crazing. Church plate approximately 26cm diameter. Boy with sheep plate approximately 24.5cm diameter.
A silver commemorative medal for the marriage of Mary, Princess Royal (1631-1660) to Prince William II of Orange (1626-1650), by Johann Blum, 1641, the Prince and Princess joining hands below rays of light emanating from a dove flanked by cherubs, in the distance a palace, rev., William in the form of Pallas tramples on Bellona and receives an olive branch from Mary, 73mm diameter/Note: A note accompanying this lot from Charles Oman to Roy Strong gives the provenance as Bride Hall, home of his sister the writer Carola Oman
A collection of tea and coffee cups and saucers, circa 1800 (40) CONDITION REPORT: There are 16 saucers of which there are three pairs and 10 singles. Only three of the saucers have matching cups. Three of the saucers have hair cracks, two have a chip and hair crack, three have star cracks and most have rubbing to gilt in varying degrees. There are five tea bowls. One is neatly repaired from three pieces. One has a faint hair crack and light staining.There are five tea cups. One has a hair crack, one has a rim chip, one has a neatly glued section to the side.There are fourteen coffee cans almost all of which have faults. Two are missing handles. Six have hair cracks, one has a chip, one has a rivet repair, one has chipping to foot, one has small hair crack through bottom of handle, one has bad rubbing to gilt, one has rubbing to gilt and bubbling to glaze.

Two restored rim chips at 10 and 11 o'clock.Plate painted roses - hairline crack to rim.Two square dished both without damage, some rubbing to enamels, light staining to top right corner of roses, rubbing to gilding.Bowl - faint star crack to base and to saucer. A 9ct yellow gold cased open faced pocket watch, by Zenith, the silvered dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, the Swiss 17 jewel movement numbered 2513585, gross weight approximately 62gm in a folding leather case CONDITION REPORT: Inner dust cover is hallmarked 9ct. Initials in small shield to case back, no other inscriptions. Light scratches and marks to dial. Winds and runs at present. Some small dents to case back near top. Case 48mm diameter.
A 1930s cut glass crystal three-branch, four-light table light, with three hexagonal scroll branches and cupped lights on a cut baluster column and circular base, 45cm high CONDITION REPORT: Missing one domed cover. Two of the existing ones have had chips polished from the widest rim.The central bowl sitting above the three arms is married and cut with strawberry diamonds rather than stars. There are a few small chips around the footrim as may be expected but nothing significant or immediately noticeable.
Beswick Ware, An Art Deco style wall mask, lady with orange curled hair and black beret, stamp and design number 314, 24cm high and another with yellow hair, design no. 197, 6.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: Both masks in good condition - no damage or restoration. (smallest has a tiny glaze chip on tip of nose). The smaller one has more noticeable crazing with some light staining.
Archibald Knox (1864-1933) for Liberty & Co, London, a Tudric pewter and enamel four-piece tea and coffee set, designed 1903, No. 0231, with turquoise enamel mounts and caned handles, comprising teapot, coffee pot, milk jug and sugar basin (4) CONDITION REPORT: Provenance: purchased from Bonham's auction 11/11/04, Lot 67Condition: Overall the appearance is very good.Teapot - the hinged cover doesn't quite fit true. Few marks (possibly remnants of a sticker?) to lid. Light scratching to body. Loss of enamel to part of lower leaf on one side. Damage to spout at front resulting in slight misshaping. Fabric cover to one end of handle is dirty and fraying, otherwise cane good.Coffee pot - light scratching throughout. Tip of spout damaged and small scratch to underside. Enamels good. Cane handle good.Milk jug - light scratching throughout. Major losses to enamels. Remains of label to base. Spout seems very slightly out of kilter but no damage apparent, just tiny frits to the tip.Sugar bowl - noticeable dent to one side and some scratching throughout, smaller dents in other places. Major losses to enamels.
A Derby topographical bough pot and liner, circa 1825, painted and titled 'A View in Malton', the serpentine front with orange and gilt panels, 10cm high CONDITION REPORT: No damage or restoration. Some firing cracks to the back rim of pot. Some crazing to glaze and light sanding to liner. Enamels and gilding good.
Knut Hesterberg (born 1941) for Ronald Schmitt/A Propeller coffee table, model K-9, with circular clear glass top and aluminium base, 121cm diameter, 54cm high CONDITION REPORT: Overall condition very good. Glass has two areas with black marks, possibly caused by rubbing against the black pads on which it rests. Light scratching throughout, consistent with use, and one area of more concentrated scratching. Two very small chips to bevelled edge. Metal frame sturdy but with some spotting, would benefit from repolishing. No maker's mark or stamp.
Two Flight, Barr & Barr square-shaped dessert dishes and a plate, circa 1815, each painted with a shell and seaweed reserves on a turquoise ground with gilt border rim, printed Royal Porcelain Work Worcester marks and impressed BFB marks, the plate 20.5cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: One square dish (with yellow and pink shell) has a very faint short hairline crack to the rim, as well as a couple of small 'nicks'. The other square dish has no damage. Sanding to base. Each shell panel has a small scratch to the dark ground. Both have stacking wear and light scratching to turquoise ground. The plate is without damage. The turquoise ground has several scratches to the rim. Shell panel unscratched. Gilding good on all.
