A Sevres Chateau des Tuilleries Louis Phillipe monogram porcelain dessert service. Decorated with putti amongst floral sprays flanking a central laurel wreath containing the Royal cypher below a crown, cobalt blue and gilt border, comprising: twelve dessert plates, two low tazzas and a tall comport. (15)Two have chips on the edges. One has a chip on the footrim, another has a firing blemish on the cavetto.Otherwise some light gilt rubbing, a little wear, and some glaze blemishes and paint run.
A Wedgwood fairyland lustre plate. Roc centre Imps on a bridge, and tree house pattern, gilt Portland vase mark, diameter 27.5cm.The plate has no condition issues.There is a little light scratching noticeable on some of the gilt, and a slightly deeper scratch above the beak of the Roc bird.There is a small firing crack on the reverse and a few marks and paint splashes.
George V silver mustard, inverted baluster shape, with a hinged cover and pierced thumb rest, on pedestal foot with Bristol blue glass liner, London hallmark, dated 1934, together with a salt and pepper (marks rubbed), 177 gms. (*cr) This lot continues with a small quantity of silver plate including a Harrods toast rack, two bread forks, mother of pearl sugar spoon, two knife rests and a gentleman's leather-lined hip flask with screw lid. Provenance: The family of Lt Col David A G Horton-Smith MBE TD (1910-1991) was Vice President, Chairman of the Works Committee of the NRA. He was strongly associated with London and Middlesex RA, The Scottish Rifle Association (SRA), National Rifle Club of Scotland, The London Scottish Rifle Club, The British Commonwealth Rifle Club (formerly the India Rifle Club), The Old Marlburian Rifle Club amongst others. His contribution to shooting both at home and abroad was the source of his MBE, he had a longstanding presence on the Bisley shooting scene and was very much involved with promoting and facilitating the sport of rifle shooting in the UK. Condition ReportSlight dent to the finial of one Pepperette, some light bruises and pin pricks.

Victorian Dent of London 18ct yellow gold and enamel half hunter pocket watch. The self-wind pocket watch having a white enamel 36mm face, with Roman dial and and subsidiary minute dial and a blue enamel chapter dial and finely engraved finish, London hallmark dated 1897, with an 18ct gold dust cover, movement nr 31518. Gross weight approx. 100gms. Footnote: Dent of London were watch makers to Her Majesty Queen Victoria 33 Cockspur Street London. Provenance: From the family of Richard Horton Smith MA QC KC (1831-1919) London Circuit Judge. Condition Report Watch moving forward at time of testing, good condition with only light wear to case, front and back consistent with some use.
