A silver Denarius of Vespasian, laureate head r. Reverse with sacrificial implements and legend Augur Tri Pot, 69-79 A.D. Similar for Titus with laureate head r. Reverse with dolphin entwined around an anchor, 79-81 A.D. Domitian, reverse with goat in a laurel wreath, 81-96 A.D. and similar for Lucilla daughter of Marcus Aurelius and wife to Lucius Veras. 4 coins. *CR All good clear examples with light surface rubbing.
A fine Henry VII Gold Angel, Standing figure of an angel with a dragon at his feet and spear in his hands, mint mark Pheon for 1505 - 09. Reverse ship with arms at the mast and 'h' and rose above, also mint mark Pheon. (S.218&). c. 5.15 g. c. 2.8 cm. Previously mounted as a pendant in loose fitting glass fronted and backed mount. *CR A lovely example with good detail and light rubbing to high points only.
A 5 Centimes piece from the City of Geneva, obverse with a bee hive with two bees below, 'Geneve 1794', reverse 'Les Heures Sont Des Tresors' with clock face and value 'L'An III De L'egalite'. Markec T.B. for Theodore Benneton. c. 2.97g. *CR Much as issued, the coin very slightly uneven, attractive light tone with good detail.
A collection of banknotes comprising a Series 'D' pictorial issue £50 note D43 392344 signed by G.M. Gill. Two similar issue ten pound note ER52 117430 and EN50 070776 signed by G.M. Gill. Five similar issue £5.00 notes similarly signed. A green and a blue Series 'A' Britannia issue notes. Fifty five Series 'D' pictorial issues to include consecutive runs: DT23 698954 - 698772, DT23 6989748 - 698755, CX84 354711 - 717 and others. And a ten shilling note D83 827688. £152 Total face value. *CR Series D one pound notes in very crisp condition, others with some light folds and creases.

Reverse standing figure Valentinian in armour, holding labarum and Victory on a globe RESTITUTOR REI PUBLICAE, mint mark RT followed by a palm leaf to the exurge. c. 3.79g. With collector's ticket. (Sear 19251). *CR clipped very slightly to left and top, otherwise a good clear example with light rubbing and marking.

The interior fitted with 20 trays fitted for coins. 1 - 5 with sixty 27 mm spaces, 6 - 11 with forty 34 mm spaces, 12 - 17 with twenty eight 40 mm spaces, 18 - 20 with twenty four 47 mm spaces, 21 a shallow drawer. In total spaces for 804 coins. 48cm high, 46cm wide, 31cm deep. *CR An attractive cabinet, signs of use and age and light marking to surfaces, no key, all slides function well.

In Royal Mint 'Specimen Coins' case of issue. *CR Exterior of case with scuffing, coins much as issued with occasional light tone. A fine set.

This coin was lot 764 in W.H.Lane's 1974 auction of 'The Association Coin', a sale of 1,431 lots from the Association, a 96 gun ship of the line which sank off the Isles of Scilly in 1707. With certificate number 1111. With a copy of the 1974 Auction catalogue. An annotated copy of the catalogue suggests a price of £4 for this coin. *CR One of the nicest coins from this reign from the wreck with good detail and very light 'shipwreck' surface.
