Susan Isaac, "Peterhouse, Cambridge", 30 x 30cm, c. 2021. This autumnal view of Trumpington Street as it passes Peterhouse has hints of festive russet colour ahead but underpinned with the darkest of wintry tones. The light of a late November afternoon had washed out all fugitive colour, leaving subtle oyster pearl hues where the light allowed. UK delivery £25.
A George VI Royal Engineers officer's dress sword with acid etched blade marked for Alkit of Cambridge Circus, wired shagreen grip and brown leather scabbard. P&P Group 3 (£25+VAT for the first lot and £5+VAT for subsequent lots). Condition report: major loss of leather to scabbard, blade has light pitting and rust towards the tip. Bullion loop almost gone. blade etching still good and blade is straight with no visible damage. Shagreen with light wear but otherwise good.
A bottle of port labelled "1931 Vintage". The bottle is such a dark green that it is difficult to tell the colour of the wine with a light. We can see that the level is just below the base of the neck. The cork looks ok , though there maybe evidence of very old seepage, but it is dusty so we can't be 100% sure.
