Royal Flying Corps / Royal Air Force Instruction Poster for Pilots, framed and glazed large instruction poster showing a new pilot turning too quickly after take off, flying in the path of a new aircraft, printed instruction to the corner. Some light stress lines / repairs. Housed in a modern glazed wooden display frame. The frame measures 108 x 75cms. We are not able to offer in house post and packing on this lot.

A pair of Sabino "Les Oursins" Art Deco frosted glass plafonniers, circa 1930, decorated with sea urchins and seaweed, 30 cm diameter x 7.5 cm deep CONDITION REPORTS The light mechanisms appear to be later replacements as they are tied in rather than secured in another way. Glass itself is very dirty with what appears to be limescale marks or suchlike to the interior. One has a crack approximately 7 cm long. One has small chips to the rim, otherwise wear and tear conducive with age and use, in need of a good clean - see images for more details.

A Newlyn School embossed copper tapered square jug decorated with fish and Viking longship stamped "Newlyn" to base 21 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Areas of verdigris though out, remains of cleaning product, lid is just "off". General wear and tear condusive to age and use including some light surface sratching, pitting and small dents the most noticable to the under side. Handle has wear to the varish covering. A C H Brannam Barum ware pottery vase of baluster form with incised fish decoration on a pale green ground, No'd. to base “1293” 41.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Firing fault hairline cracks to the inside of the neck. Further firing fault cracks around the handle top and bottom. Some minor speckles / faults to the blank reverse. Further firiing fault to the right of the handle at rear and loss of glaze to the extremities of the handles. Under UV light there does not appear to be any restoration.

Slight grubbiness and wear to the foot conducive with age and use, however under UV light, the top of the neck has been damaged and restored - see UV images
A Mary White (1926-2013) stoneware pottery bowl of simple form of flared form, 24.5 cm diameter x 6.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Overall appears in good condition. Some fine black spots to the interior of the base of the bowl (probably tiny air bubbles). Similar effect to the very rim where glaze slightly thicker. Some slight marking to one edge of the rim which may come off with a clean. Otherwise the piece appears in good condition. Under UV light there does not appear to be any sign of restoration.
A collection of studio pottery to include Marion de Trey (1913-2016) jug with sgraffito style feathered decorated band to middle, 20 cm high, a Michael Truscott blue on white glazed fruit bowl, unmarked 13.5 cm high, a Thomas Plowman for Stalham Pottery treacle glazed ribbed jug, bearing "S" stamp and "TP:" stamp 19 cm high together with two studio pottery bowls, a further vase and a square dish with treacle glaze and decorated with a bird, stamped "BE" to base, 8.5 cm x 8.5 cm (7) CONDITION REPORTS All items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include firing marks, light surface scratches, some minor knocks with the exception of the incised jug which has several larger areas of glaze off - see images for more details.
