16 plastic sandwich bags filled with water (now evaporated), mounted on black flannel on chipboard, 50 x 50 x 4 cm. The backside contains a wooden frame, 38.5 x 38.5 x 4 cm, painted black. Artists' stamp on verso, stamped in black on chipboard, stating 'henk peeters/ title aquarel on black /date design 1961/ nr / date fabrication 1965/ nr 2/5'. Title, date and edition number are added in black marker. Added is an envelope sent by Peeters containing 22 original empty sandwich bags (from the 1960s, not produced anymore) so the owner can replace the bags and refresh the water. The plastic bags are currently empty with remnants of calcium from the evaporated water, the flannel shows light fading. Provenance from a private collection, derived from Galerie A, Amsterdam. The work was shown in the exhibition 'Nul' at galerie Schoeller in Dusseldorf, 1994. Henk Peeters (1925 - 2013) was a prominent member of the Dutch ZERO movement, and curator of international ZERO exhibitions. His 'aquarel' works were made in various sizes and backgrounds, with different numbers of bags. In 1965 he executed a ceiling aquarel, an installation of about one hundred plastic bags filled with water hanging from the ceiling of the Amsterdam RAI confection centre.

Fall contains two photographic sequences, composed of 11 images each, from the artists' films Fall 1, Los Angeles, and Fall 2, Amsterdam. The former begins with Ader seated in a straight-backed chair on the roof of his house and the latter sees the artist cycling into the canal in one of his most recognizable actions. Extremely rare artists publication by the legendary Ader (1942-1975) who mysteriously disappeared while crossing the Atlantic Ocean in a small boat in 1975. Cover with very light spotting along edges, small toned spot on back cover, otherwise in fine condition.

Groningen, Corps de Garde, 1979. Multiple, 13.5 x 20 cm /216 x 124 cm. Folded sheet of black tissue paper which unfolds into the shape of the numeral 7. Title printed in tiny gold lettering in upper center of the huge sheet. The multiple was produced in the run-up to Documenta 7 (1982) and meant as a protest against the organization's Western-centric perspective. It was mailed to a selective group of international art-world insiders who were asked to hang the piece on a wall. Edition size unknown. Very light discolouration at edges, generally a good copy.

Cologne, Gerd de Vries, 1972. Rare assembling of photocopied sheets featuring typed text works by the German artist Peter Roehr (1944-1968), from the period 1963-66. One of only 30 numbered copies from a total edition of 34 copies. Comprises 78 loose A4 sheets, including 2 yellow cover sheets, a title page, two index pages and a colophon sheet with the hand added edition number 22. This copy without pvc-binder, though a light imprint on the center left margin of the sheets may suggest it has formerly been clipped in a folder. Apart from the minor imprint, the sheets are in very good condition, see pictures. Peter Roehr, who died in 1968 at the age of 24, became known for his serial montages which included objects, photo, film and sound as well as text or 'typo-montages'. Roehr collaborated closely with Paul Maenz, together they organized the groundbreaking 1967 exhibition 'Serielle Formationen' with Andre, Dibbets, Haacke, Judd, Manzoni and Schoonhoven. Paul Maenz gallery (with Gerd de Vries) was instrumental in keeping the artists' legacy alive.

(1) Everybody with Anybody, February 1982. Plastic bag with title sticker, 22 x 15 cm, contains a collection of approx. 70 sheets of different size and stock. Features printed b/w photo documentation and artists' contributions related to the Artist’s rubber stamps competition at the Young Artists’ Club, Budapest (APS No.11). This was an unusual exhibition with artists' stamps and ink blocks hanging on red strings in the center of the room, the audience was meant to stamp all surrounding walls. Catalogue stamped and numbered 97/300 by Galántai. (2) Stamp and Rubberstamp: World Art Post, use the stamps in your work, March 1982. Artists' assembling catalogue for an Artpool event featuring 22 Hungarian artists. Stamped cardboard folder, 17 x 15 cm, list of content printed in interior. Texts in English and Polish. The artists' book was initiated by a group of Polish artists' organizing underground independent international artists' events. It was made in the aftermath of 'Construction in Process', an influential exhibition curated by Wasko in Lodz in 1981. Fabryka's amazing list of contributors includes: Sol Lewitt, Lawrence Weiner, Taka Iimura, Tomasz Konart, Antoni Mikolajczyk, Dóra Maurer, Pawel Kwiek, Kazuo Katase, Maurizio Nannucci, Fred Sandback, Les Levine, Richard Nonas, Paul Sharits, Peter Downsbrough, Aleksander Honory, Waclaw Ropiecki and many others. This copy is signed by Antoni Mikolajczyk, and dedicated to Paul Panhuysen, who organized many underground Polish exhibitions at the Apollohuis in Eindhoven in the 1980s. Launch poster published by De Appel Amsterdam, 1979. Colour printed double sided, 42 x 30 cm, folded once as issued. Recto shows an image from the video ‘Test Tube’ and De Appel's logo. Verso features information on the production and screening of the work. Text in English and Dutch. Test Tube was produced by De Appel in 1979, during General Idea's residency in Amsterdam. It was conceived as a program for television, mixing formats such as a news magazine, an infomercial, and a talk show presented from The Colour Bar Lounge. The core of the work is a soap opera–like narrative about the struggling artist Marianne, featured on the poster having a cocktail presented in a test tube. Light creasing, generally a fine copy.
