Ichiko (Japan) tinplate Volvo 1800S model car - scarce example finished in orangey red, lacks the plastic light lenses front and rear but does have bright plated parts, detailed interior and opening doors, circa 1970's, similar scale to the Bandai models. There is some surface corrosion to the edges of the bonnet otherwise Fair to Good, 9"/22cm long.
Schuco (Germany) Telesteering Car 3000 - set contains a red clockwork car with figure, gears and brake together with 12 x wooden bollards, key and steering wheel accessory (lacks wooden ball), some light wear to the edges of the car but it is in working order with key - otherwise Excellent in a Fair card box with the Poor to Fair remains of the lid. Also included is another Telesteering Car 3000 clockwork set with a green clockwork car with gears, steering wheel accessory (no cable or bollards but does include a key) - otherwise the car is in working order and appears generally Excellent, the box and accessories are Fair, the lid is Poor. (2 sets).
Schuco pair of diecast Micro Racers - to include 1045 Ford - two-tone sage green/cream - light wear to the edges otherwise Good, in working order with a plain key, (2) 1046 Volkswagen Beetle Micro Racer - grey, of recent limited edition production, in working order with key and instruction leaflet - Near Mint in a Excellent illustrated box. Other unboxed Varianto tinplate clockwork vehicles comprise (3) 3049 Estate Car - red (loose side trim) and (4) 3044 Bus - powder blue - both are in working order but without their own key - Fair to Good. (4)
1960's Chinese made tinplate friction drive Truck and Saloon Car (1) "10-wheeled Truck" - based on an American GMC Truck with powder blue/white cab and yellow/orange rear body, spring loaded winch to front, some storage marks to roof otherwise Excellent, 11"/27cm long in a Good Plus box with colourfully illustrated lid, (2) 4-door tinplate Car - light green, some age related fading to the bright metal parts otherwise Good Plus. (2)
PN Toys (Philip Neidermeier of Germany) PN900 "Mystery Car" - scarce 1950's quality German made novelty car set, comprising tinprinted 4-door Car - red, with passenger detail and brake, clockwork motor in working order with key, together with a tinplate 5"/13cm Garage structure (similar to the contemporary Schuco version) with opening cantilever doors front and rear. When wound the car drives in the rear and back out the front unless it is stopped using a roof mounted lever, very light age related wear otherwise an Excellent Plus bright example in working order with key, which comes in a Good colourfully illustrated box.
MYK (Japan) 1960's "Lifelike Mechanical Helicopter" - tinplate clockwork model in dark blue US Navy livery, has No.207, clockwork motor with integral key in working order with revolving rotors and propels the aircraft forward - Excellent in a Good card box with colourfully illustrated lid. Unboxed friction drive aircraft comprise K Toys Cessna Single Engined Light Aircraft - red/silver (friction drive stiff), 7.5"/19cm long, together with a smaller Single Engined Fighter with German markings and a Japanese "Air Queen" Jet Plane - Excellent to Near Mint. (4)
Marx Toys (Japan) Colonel Haphazard Robot - scarce tinplate battery operated robot figure, circa 1965 - white with tinprinted detail, black plastic boots and gauntlets, opening visor, revolving illuminated beacons to head, clean battery compartment to rear, compartment lid fitted with plastic boosters - some light age related wear otherwise a Good Plus to Excellent scarce example, 12"/29cm high.
Shudo and another tinplate clockwork Robot (1) Shudo "Apollo NASA" Spaceman Robot with tinprinted tinplate body, grey plastic arms, walking and clicking action - light green with red feet and tinprinted detail, clear visor to his face, 5"/13cm high; (2) "Robot-7" - silver with tinprinted detail, walking action - both are in working order with permanent keys - Good to Good Plus. Chinese ME091 1960's tinplate "Space Tank" - scarce example in light blue, with dark blue trim and detailed tinprinting - untested with a clean battery compartment and mystery action to underside, astronaut pilot has articulated plastic limbs, includes aerial and rear bulldozer blade with television screen to rear platform and both black rubber tracks - Excellent in a Good card box with colourfully illustrated lid.
Marx Toys (Hong Kong) Large Remote Control Jaguar E-Type Open Top - impressive battery operated plastic model which is red, with brighter plated parts, seated driver figure with articulated arms, steerable front wheels, untested but still retains its attached control cable & battery box - light age related wear but overall Good Plus to Excellent in a Fair illustrated box with tears to the illustrated lid but does include a manufacturers information slip. 12.5"/32cm long.
Mamod (UK) a pair of Stationary Steam Engines; (1) Early version with a light green fitting, 18cm/7" long, has had significant use but still retains the early meths burner; (2) Larger later model with blue fitting, 8"/20cm long, lacks chimney and has been used but does include the meths burner - Fair to Good (2)
Technofix (Germany) No.307 "Coney Island" Calypso Big Dipper Ride - colourfully formed plastic layout with 2 x tinplate clockwork cars, no key but both are in working order, some light age wear but overall Good Plus to Excellent, 21"/53cm long and comes in a Fair (torn) card box with colourfully illustrated lid.
Marx and Johnny 7 Toys (1) Marx Toys (Hong Kong) battery operated "Traffic Light" - plastic traffic light mounted on control box with "Walk & Don't Walk" illuminated signs, with red, amber and green 4-faced lamp, includes operating instructions - an Excellent ex shop stock example in a Good illustrated box, the lamp post is 8.5"/22cm high, also included (2) Johnny 7 (UK) "Phone Set" - comprising 2 x plastic hand sets which are red, with connecting wire, unchecked for completeness but appear Fair scarce items and come in a Good illustrated box. Also in this lot is a Chad Valley Hoovermatic Washing Machine - tinplate, manual control for washing and spin drying, lacks compartment covers otherwise a Good example of the Hoovermatic circa 1960 and comes in a Fair cardboard box, 10"/25cm long. (3)
Mamod (UK) TE1a Steam Traction Engine - 1970's example with light green boiler, red spoked wheels, still retains its (rusty) meths burner, has had some use but does come with a couple of accessories including steering control rod and plastic funnel - would benefit from more detailed cleaning otherwise overall Good including a illustrated card box marked "Boys Toy of the Year Award 1972".
Mamod a group of boxed accessories - to include Lineshaft, Model Power Hammer, miniature Polishing Machine and Grinding Machine - earlier examples with light green fittings, together with 2 boxes of 20 solid fuel tablets and 3 No.62 envelopes containing drive belt - appear ex-shop stock example with light age wear but overall Good Plus to Excellent in Good Plus illustrated boxes. Also included in this lot is a Dinky Toys Action Kit 1017 Routemaster Bus - contents appear Good and are still sealed within a Fair blister pack. (10)
Billing Boats "Zwarte Zee" 1/90th scale well detailed model of single screw Ocean Going Motor Tug with deck fittings, lifeboats, some crew members, rigging and flags, light green decks with red/black plastic hull and mounted on a wooden stand, the model which has removable superstructure and rear deck panel to give access to the interior, contains motor and other fittings to drive the rear propeller a rudder is also fitted. The model is unchecked for completeness and is untested but generally Good for display, 90cm/35.5" long.
Moko 1920's tinplate clockwork Limousine - very scarce example finished in green, with black roof and chassis, brown interior seating with uniformed Chauffeur. Clockwork operation in working order with integral key driving back wheels, interestingly all 6 x "pistons" also move up and down as the rear wheels revolve. Although Moko was better known for later issue diecast toys, apparently Georg Adam Mangold (Gama) produced this tinplate car to be sold under the Moko trademark. A working gear lever is attached to the left hand side of the car producing forward, reverse and neutral together with two opening rear doors each with a securing latch. Each half of the bonnet also opens in a similar fashion. Some light age related wear otherwise a Good scarce example only the second such model that Vectis have had, 9.5"/23cm long.
Tonka (New Zealand) pressed steel Farm Tractor - scarce limited production tractor produced in New Zealand in the 60's/70's period - finished in dark blue with black plastic dummy engine, large rear tyres, rubber exhaust stack, still retains the plastic headlamps at the front, steering wheel and drivers seat, steerable front wheels, some light storage wear and around the steering front axle but otherwise a Good Plus to Excellent scarce example, 9"/23cm long.
A group of boxed tinplate clockwork Robots - to include Nibbler, Martian Invader 10"/26cm high, Spark Robot - green, Liliput Robot by Fantastic & Co (copy of one of the earliest robots ever made), silver Robot, Roxy - blue with skirt and another - pink together with Space Station with robot and camera - Near Mint to Mint in Excellent boxes. Unboxed items comprise a tin light Mister Robot and a Superman belt buckle - Excellent. (10)
Burnett (Chad Valley UK) tinplate clockwork "Flying Scotsman" O Gauge Locomotive and Tender, built from a nut and bolt kit from that company's Ubilda Series of Locomotives - this is the first such example Vectis have had and is believed to be the rarest locomotive in the Ubilda range, engine and tender are finished in LNER apple green livery and numbered 4472. The model is fitted with handrails and buffers and still retains the gold coloured tin containing a key and spanner, the motor being in working order driving the rear driving wheels, some light age related wear but overall a Good Plus example, 18"/46cm long and comes in a Fair card box with a Good illustration to the lid.
Norev, Triang Minic and other assorted tinplate and plastic toys - to include a Syma (China) radio-controlled Army Helicopter, untested but appears Excellent for display, comes with control unit and instruction book, together with a Norev Shell Service Station model with 2 x petrol pumps and a traffic light, a Triang Minic clockwork Crawler Tractor - red with black rubber tracks and a Schylling Flying Yankee Streamlined Train - bright plated metal 3-coach train - Good Plus to Excellent in Good boxes. Unboxed items comprise Modern Toys "Neptune" battery-operated Tug Boat - Good with a clean battery compartment and a Fair Glamorgan Tinplate Products tinplate Car - Fair. (6)
