A brass hanging ceiling light, early 20th century, height 72cm. Condition report: Replacement pipe between rose and light fitting, otherwise no serious defects.

SCHOOL OF SIR ANTHONY VAN DYCK (1599-1641); large oil on canvas, portrait study of Charles I on horseback, unsigned, inscribed on plaque to frame, 141 x 108cm, framed. CONDITION REPORT: Surface dirt commensurate with age. Visible evidence under the frame that it has been remounted. Areas of light craquelure throughout. Horizontal line (possibly a fold or stretcher line) stretching the width of the painting, dissecting Charles' chin. Losses throughout, particularly extreme to edges where the frame meets the canvas. Some grazes to the lower part of the work, with one in particular measuring approx. 3.5cm. 17th century, this item came from a large Welsh country manor house.

Approximately one hundred and twenty-five mostly Del Prado model soldiers, predominantly early 19th century European cavalry of Britain, France, Spain etc, with five standing figures including Duke of Wellington, with tags and certificates, all loose. CONDITION REPORT: Cannot guarantee all figures will have tag and certificate present, a few loose pieces have come off the models, some of the figures come off the horses as the glue has dried up, otherwise general light surface wear.

A Military General Service Medal awarded to John Wilkinson 7th Foot with eight bars for Toulouse, Orthes, Pyrenees, Vittoria, Salamanca, Badajoz, Albuhera and Talavera, on replacement ribbon. CONDITION REPORT: Some small edge knocks to lowest section of the obverse (Victoria) and some further minor to the reverse visibly to the two o'clock and six o'clock areas, there are some small nicks and gouges particularly to the raised areas of decoration, most noticeably to the cheek area of Victoria and to the neck, there are further light surface scratches to the body of the medal on both sides, an edge knock above the O in Wilkinson where there is a small indent, further very small dents above the O and H of John, above the L in Wilkinson and beneath the N, some further minor nicks to the edges, some toning particularly to the reverse upper section, rubbing and wear to the ribbon clasp and bars.

Preece of the Gordon Highlanders, with photocopied National Archive paperwork of his service history including a Form of Discharge in consequence of 'Having made a misstatement as to age on enlistment'; please note Pte. Preece is believed to be the grandson of the Preece of Lot 352. CONDITION REPORT: General surface wear, some light edge knocks, contact marks, surface scratches, nicks and gouges, rubbing particularly to raised areas, etc.

CONDITION REPORT: Image very clear, so clear that lenses are either remarkably well preserved, have been cleaned or indeed replaced. No case, light wear to metalwork but generally good, one leg with broken leather strap.

A Japanese naval officer's kai-guntō with sun ray motif seppa and black lacquered tsuba, black same tape grip with three sakura to either side and similarly decorated ferrule, pommel and sarute with brown tassel, the fullered steel blade with copper coloured mount to base, blade length to top of mount 49cm, in black same scabbard with gilt metal sakura motif twin ring mounts. CONDITION REPORT: Some particular areas of wear to the same scabbard, rubbing to the gilt mounts, general surface wear, some light pitting to the blade, scratches, nicks etc, wear to the copper coloured mount, areas of loss to the lacquer on the tsuba, scratches to the finish on the seppa, further general wear, the tape on the grip now faded and discoloured, rubbing to the gilt mounts throughout, general wear to the same grip.

A Japanese Army Junior Officer's parade sabre, the fullered blade stamped to base 'Tokyo Japan Suya', with pierced foliate motif guard and further foliate detail to back strap, wirework horn grip, length of blade 84cm, in metal scabbard. CONDITION REPORT: Blade slightly loosely fitted into the hilt, but there is only light surface wear and light pitting to blade, light nicks, surface scratches, gouges, etc to the hilt. The scabbard with some dents and corrosion.

A Japanese army non-commissioned officer's shin-gunto numbered to blade base 53326 with character mark, three further character marks beneath plain tsuba to metal grip in metal scabbard, blade length approx 69cm including brass base section, also a tanto with tsuba (loose) and cloth wrapped shagreen grip in probably later plastic scabbard, blade length approx 31.5cm including copper base section (2). CONDITION REPORT: Some light corrosion and pitting to blade, some wear and loss to the finish on the tsuba and general wear and tear to the grip with chips to the painted finish etc, the scabbard with some dents and also discolouration and losses to the coloured finish. Regarding tanto, general heavy wear throughout, please refer to images for condition.

A British light infantry dress sword with etched decoration and indistinctly signed to base, pierced guard and shagreen wirework grip, also a further sabre for restoration (af), both lacking scabbards (2). CONDITION REPORT: Condition faults throughout, refer to images, these are sold af with no returns.

A Victorian Aberdeenshire Highlander's basket hilt sword with VR cipher and etched floral decoration to centrally fullered blade and indistinctly signed to base with pierced heart motif guard and taped grip (lacking pommel) with scabbard, blade length approx 82cm. CONDITION REPORT: Blade tip lacking sharp point, blade generally ok with only light pitting, surface wear and rubbing to decoration, the guard is loose and has corrosion and pitting throughout, the pommel is missing as stated and the tape to the grip is certainly later, possibly for structural reasons, the scabbard is heavily pitted, discoloured and dented, small split approximately half way down and top of scabbard is misshapen, there are no returns on this item.

A Victorian Light Infantry officer's sword, the blade with etched VR cipher and foliate detail, stamped to base 'Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London', number to back 10349, length 82cm, the pierced guard with Rifles device and with wirework shagreen grip, lacking scabbard. CONDITION REPORT: Some pitting and general wear including scratches, nicks, etc. Similar wear to the guard with heavy rubbing to the finish and deep scratches, nicks, gouges, etc. Similar to the back strap but shagreen grip in good condition and without losses.

CONDITION REPORT: Some small losses to surface decoration, particularly around the base including minor chip to one end, otherwise light surface wear and usual manufacturing imperfections. Charlotte Rhead bowl with hairline to rim, crazing and further surface wear throughout.

CLARICE CLIFF; two large Toby jugs with purple and blue coloured coats, both with Wilkinson Ltd stamps to base, height of each approx 25.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: The purple coated Toby with small area of loss to surface decoration on rim, both with fritting to rims and light surface wear.
