J'espere moi aussi que je pourrai venir vous voir. Ne mangez pas trop de dindon. Ma chatte a lu votre lettre et m'a demandé si j'etais vraiment un souris noir parce que, dit elle, dans ce cas, j'aurai quelque chose a vous dire...' A humorous letter by M.R. James to Gwendolyn McBryde written on 26 December 1910, describing the conversation he had had with his cat regarding her recent letter, and finishing by wishing her a happy new year. (1)
