A George II mahogany silver table, Irish, the rectangular dished top above a shaped apron on shell carved legs with scroll feet, 72cm x 81cm (very faded)/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: We believe this table is period although not of the top quality. Although it is light the grain in the timber looks good and the quality of the carving is good. There is no surface colour or patina whatsoever, the whole piece looks seriously sun bleached. The top has some burn marks, perhaps the top has also been restored/re-surfaced to help remove these.

Opal and diamond cluster ring with an oval cabochon opal measuring approximately 8mm x 6mm flanked by two baguette cut diamonds and a border of single cut diamonds, on 18ct gold shank, ring size M.Good condition commensurate with age. Light scratching/abrasions to the surface of the opal and possibly slightly damaged under the claws. A very lively opal. Not hallmarked but stamped 18ct. Weighs approximately 3.78 grams.

The Mason's vase has a staple repair at the top. The mug has some staining and light hairlines on the base. The bird jug has a chip to the spout, some staining, glaze wear, small chips to footrim. The barrel mug has damage to the thumb piece. The pink lustre jug has crazing and possibly some minor restoration to the spout.

1950s Gentlemen's Buren 9ct gold open face pocket watch with white enamel dial, Roman numerial hour markers, subsidary second dial and blued steel hands in 9ct gold case, (Birmingham 1952), presentation inscription to inner cover 'Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd, Presented to T. Clough for 30 years service 1952', watch numbered 704689. Case 46mm in diameter.The watch is currently running. It winds smoothly and the hands adjust correctly. The movement is a Buren Grand Prix 17 jewel 690 calibre movement. The watch is in excellent condition commensurate with age. The case has no dents and no obvious scratches, only very light surface wear. The glass isn't scratched and the enamel dial is perfect. The watch appears to have hardly been worn. The gold case is by Dennison and is a good thick guage. The inner dust cover is inscribed with the presentation inscription and is also gold. Gross weight 85 grams.
