Extremely Rare WW2 Jewish Warsaw Ghetto Police Headdress Badge, hexagonal brass badge with blue painted border. Within the border is “ORDNUNGSDIENST StUZBA PORZADKOWA”, centre has blue outlined Star of David to the centre with R Alt Tsch to the top and R St Cz to the bottom. Reverse of the badge has a screw post fitting and dish with makers mark of “L Olslewski GRAWER WARSZAWA”. Badge remains in very good condition with just light wear to the blue painted areas of the front of the badge. When Germany invaded Poland they set up Ghetto’s where they housed the Jewish population. The largest of these was the famous Warsaw Ghetto. The Ghetto was walled up and you was only able to leave with a special permit. The Germans forced members of the local Jewish council to set up a Police force within the camps to maintain order and carry out the instructions of the Nazi officials. These Police officials were issued with a special uniform and insignia.

RareWW2 Special Allied Airborne Reconnaissance Force (SAARF) Parachute Jump Wing, extremely rare example of the embroidered jump wing worn by this very small unit of highly trained mixed force. The insignia appears to be in very good condition with just light wear and a small rust line across section of the wing. Reverse has some paper residue from where it has been removed from an album. The Special Allied Airborne Reconnaissance Force (SAARF) was set up by the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF) in February 1945. They were tasked with being dropped behind enemy lines near prisoner of war camps and slave labour camps to report on the conditions and to prevent atrocities being carried out by the retreating German forces etc. Other duties would involve the hunting down of possibly war criminals. The unit was only involved in one Airborne drop before the unit was disbanded.

Hussars Officers Dress Tunic, of red scarlet cloth with heavy bullion Austrian knot pattern frogging to the front of the tunic. Heavy bullion decoration to the cuffs. Concealed fastening clips to the front of the tunic with two of the four original bullion acorn buttons. Collar has thick flat bullion wire decoration. Gilt cord edging to the front and skirt of the tunic. Loops to the chest for a breast order. Interior has half quilted lining. Evidence of where removable shoulder boards would have once been present. Some light staining and service wear but generally good condition.

Royal Artillery Parachute Qualified 42nd Division Battle Dress Set, consisting of 1943 dated Australian made open collar battle dress blouse with Royal Artillery embroidered shoulder titles, WW2 period Parachute qualification jump wings (to one arm only) and 2nd pattern 42nd division embroidered formation signs. To the shoulders are two red backed officers rank pips. Above the breast are medal ribbons for WW2 service and General Service Medal. Original tailors size label to the interior. Accompanied by a pair of Australian made battle dress trousers with 1943 dated size label. Set shows some light service wear but generally in good condition. (2 items)

Miss-matched pair of white metal collars with South Africa 1900-02 scroll and scarce brass collar badge of the Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers with LRV to the centre and no elephant or battle honour. Indian Mutiny and Long Service Medal Pair Awarded to 3550 Private Andrew Burnett 72nd Highlanders, Indian Mutiny medal with clasp Central India and Victorian Army Long Service medal with small letter reverse. Both medals are named in the correct style. Medals show some light contact marks but generally good condition. Andrew Burnett was born in the parish of St Cuthberts, Edinburgh. A cabinet maker by trade, he attested for regular army service with the 72nd Highlanders on the 8th November 1855. He served 20 years and 111 days with the colours. He was awarded the Long Service Good Conduct medal 4th May 1874. He was discharged 12th June 1876. His sole entitlement was the Indian Mutiny medal and LSGC medal.

Great War 1914-15 Star Medal Trio Yorkshire Light Infantry, the medals were awarded to 18951 PTE J WILIAMS YORKS LI. Medals complete with replacement ribbons. Private Joshua Williams was Baptised at St Elphins, Warrington, Lancashire. He served with the regiment in France from 11th September 1915.

German Army Officers Dress Dagger, with yellow / orange handle and standard army pattern eagle cross guard. Dagger is complete with its original scabbard. Attached to the handle is the original bullion wire dress knot and the scabbard has the original velvet backed hanging straps. E&F Horster Solingen trade mark to the base of the blade. Blade shows some very light surface staining. Some plating lifting to the exterior fittings but otherwise good condition.

WW2 Fleet Air Arm Naval C-Type Flying Helmet in untouched as found condition. The helmet is complete with the zip ear cups, original 1st type leather chinstrap and goggle attachment straps to the reverse. Interior lining has the forehead velvet padding. Internal ear cup to one side only and this is perishing. Interior shows wear consistent with exterior and service. Leather exterior of the helmet is generally sound with just some light scuffing and dusty.
