A set of three modern silver bottle holders of plain form (by W I Broadway & Co., Birmingham) CONDITION REPORTS Basically sound throughout though with some light surface scratching - see image for example. Two with marks for 2003, one with marks for 2002 (Queens head). Woodwork with some difference in colouration perhaps original, perhaps due to sun bleaching or watermarking, though not pronounced. Bases felt with marking conducive with usage. Otherwise condition good
A Victorian silver travelling Communion chalice and paten (by Charles Reily and George Storer , London, 1849) together with another Victorian Gothic Revival silver travelling Communion chalice (by Daniel & Charles Houle, date mark obscured) approx 5.67 oz CONDITION REPORTS Condition of all pieces over all good though with arguably signs of light surface scratching conducive with age and use. Hexagonal base to Gothic Revival style piece with slight denting to the edge - see image. Also small dent to the bowl visible from the inside, not so visible from the outside due to the engraving. Diameter of pattern 6 cm, height of matching chalice 8.9 cm x 4.2 cm diameter, height of Gothic chalice 9 cm x 5.4 cm diameter
A set of twelve Victorian silver and engraved napkin rings, each with family motif of gauntlet and crossed axes, No'd. 1-12 (by Walter and John Barnard, London 1878), 14.61 oz total, in tooled and gilded leather case CONDITION REPORTS All numbered and with armorial to one of the panels. Condition good though with arguably light surface scratching conducive with age and use. Case basically sound but with some signs of scratching, denting, wear and tear again conducive with age and use, clasp a little bent therefore not fitting exactly though appears as if it could be rectified with rebending - see images for further detail
An 18 carat gold and platinum mounted cross over ring set with pearl (size 9) and single sapphire, approx .75 carat, with three small diamonds to the shoulders, 3.7 g, size I CONDITION REPORTS There do not appear to be any visible signs of chipping to the sapphire or the pearl. Ring basically in good order though with signs of wear conducive with age and use i.e. some light surface scratching to the gold under a glass. Case very worn
A 19th Century Chinese famille-verte circular dish with blossoming foliage and butterfly decoration, raised on a circular foot, bearing blue underglazed mark as a stylised conch shell (Buddhist emblem), 33 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS The piece has a large U shaped break to one side around the area of the base of the main image approx. 15 cm around the edge and 5.5 cm deep at deepest. The piece also has fritting to the edges where it has obviously been held on a wall mount by wire. Otherwise there is a certain amount of surface dirt and light scratching conducive with age and use - see images for further detail
