An early 19th Century 1821 pattern Light Cavalry sword, the 90cm blade with presentation inscription 'Presented by The Earl of Dudley to Corpl Whitgrove for brilliant swordsmanship 1865', floral decoration and VR cypher, the proofed gilt disc within a star relating to the maker Lambert Brown & Clowes London, pierced hilt and wire fish skin grip.Provenance - Purchased from Bonhams 2016 lot 67, sale 23565.NB - Corpl Whitgrove was an officer serving in the Worcestershire Yeomanry Cavalry. The Earl of Dudley purchased this sword from Lambert & Co.

Golding for Okra glass paperweight, of egg form, slice cut to reveal an internal large controlled air bubble, cased in clear crystal and decorated to the surface with iridescent light blue and opal pulled trails, scratch signed and numbered 22/500, height 11cm, together with a Richard P. Golding large cylinder dump weight, decorated in a blue iridescent ground and a Dean Hopkins for Okra obelisk weight, with pulled trails over a petrol iridescent ground, signed, tallest height 16cm. WW2 GERMAN LUFTWAFFE FALLSCHIRMJAGER / PARATROOPERS TAN WATER JUMP SMOCK, good example of the camouflage jump smock in the tan water camouflage pattern with button front, pockets with the white bakelite zips, which all appear to be in working order. Evidence of where a breast eagle has once been present. Storm cuffs with original press stud buttons stamped ‘PRYM’. Rear pockets and tabs etc all still present. Interior with ink issue stamping. Generally good condition example showing just light wear.
THIRD REICH POSTSCHUTZ OFFICIALS DRESS DAGGER BY PAUL WEYERSBERG, SOLINGEN, generally good example of a Postal Protection (Postschutz) officials dress dagger with black grip having nickel silver emblem of the organisation to the centre. Plated top pommel and cross guard with black enamel swastika to the centres. Housed in its original scabbard which shows some light wear. Original hanging chains with correct ‘DRGM’ mark to the back of the clip. Good condition double edged blade with makers trademark to the reverse. Small chip to grip and some general wear but still generally a good example of a rare German dress dagger.

Victorian silver scent bottle, of hexagonal form and etched with nursery rhyme style decoration of children, hinged lid opening to glass stopper, Sampson Mordan, London 1884, H5.7cm. Together with a Victorian double ended blue glass scent bottle with silver plated stoppers.Condition - The silver scent bottle is in generally good condition with a small dint to the lid area just above the childs head, otherwise light general wear with small chip to inner stopper. The blue glass bottle is missing an interior stopper and has light wear and rubbing to the silver plated areas.
