A late 19th century Coalport commemorative mug for Ironbridge, Shropshire, a pair of Shelley candlesticks, a Carlton Ware dressing table tray and trinket pot, a late 19th century Royal Doulton floral plate, and an early 20th century Adams Portland Blue jasper ware planter (af). CONDITION REPORT Mug heavily crazed throughout. Candlesticks have light crazing and wear commensurate with age. Trinket pot has a small chip to body and cover. Planter has a crack to the base.
ELLIS, JOHN; "An Essay Towards A Natural History Of Corallines and Other Marine Productions Of The Like Kind, Commonly Found On The Coast Of Great Britain and Ireland", to which is added the description of a large marine polype take near the north pole by the whale-fishers, in the summer 1753, printed for the author in London, 1755, with engraved folded plates throughout and pencil annotations to the front, gilt tooled leather bound. CONDITION REPORT All plates present. Discolouration and light foxing present throughout. Binding in good order and colour of gilt decoration is strong.
