Original purple cloth with gilt title and decoration, all edges gilt. Photographic frontispiece and vignette to title page, plus 22 mounted albumen photographs and four plans, all present. Corners bumped, some fading to spine, top inch of spine missing, light foxing. Together with Eridge Castle, two bound articles from The Connoisseur and The Badminton Magazine (mounted on pages), full leather binding with gilt titles on cover and spine.
