Distler (Germany) Tinplate Fire Engine: pre-war clockwork model is red with yellow detailing including `FIRE BRIGADE` to sides, with yellow extending ladder, tinplate balloon tyres, and four firemen figures (two missing). When fixed key wound, model moves forwards and bell to undercarriage rings. Length 28.5cm. Some small parts missing including bell and warning light to front, paper label stuck to front numberplate, and ladder requires re-stringing but otherwise a G+ example. Together with a Distler Fire Station: tinplate with two opening doors to front, when lever to side pulled down metal `Fire!` sign pops up above doors. Length 30cm, height 20cm. Some age wear incuding dents to doors, and `Fire Station` writing faded above doors, but otherwise in G condition. (2)
