A pair of Edwardian sterling silver curling irons together with a box, William Davenport, Birmingham 1902, the handles of the irons bear Continental silver hallmarks so it is probable that they were imported to Britain, the blades of the curling irons are stamped 'Steel', and the interior of the box is silver plated, the stand for the irons inside the box is stamped 'Unecht', which is German for 'false', presumably to denote that the interior of the box is not solid silver, the box still has a wick inside to light the fluid, the irons are 20cm long and the box is 9.6cm long when closed, together they weigh 377g (12.14t oz)..
A WWI ERA GERMAN LIGHT WEIGHT METAL HELMET, possibly used by German fire/Police Service, the helmet is black but is missing lots of original colour revealing the bare alloy colour below, it has an almost reflective band around the rim, bearing partial Eagle/Swastika motif and is marked on the inside rear 'DIN 14940', with a small circular motif below

XEX 447-1n (side 1), XEX448-1N (side two), PMC 1206 with black and yellow label. In original sleeve and cover. (also in good condition)
