Slight wear in places; some surface marks; small holes in places; small 'bites' to selvedges. Rich palette including yellows, greens, light and dark blues, red, white; dark brown. Cf. Hull, A. & Luczyc-Wyhowska, op cit. pp. 196-206 for a discussion of this group. Also Black, David, The Undiscovered Kelim. pl. 37, 38, 41 & 42, all attributed to South Caucasus.

A 1796 pattern British Light Cavalry Officer's sabre:, the curved blade with single fuller having crown and 'GR' cypher over a figure of a man on horseback to one side with Royal Coat of Arms and Militia to the other , traces of blueing to both sides, steel hilt with double langets and single quillon, stirrup guard and wire bound leather grip, blade length 82cm
A WWII War Medal to Albert Syson, Durham Light Infantry together with a collection of related Army papers and ephemera etc:.*Notes -Joining in October 1940, Private Syson was declared unfit for armed service after sustaining facial injuries which caused difficulty breathing and was medically discharged June 1941.
A WWI period twin blade propeller for a 130HP Samson engined Voisin two seat bomber by W D Oddy & Co, Leeds:, the laminated blades with reinforced tip stamped to the boss 'WD Oddy & Co 58-2311 130HP Salmson Voisin 1499', also stamped with War Department dates 'WD 29.4.17', remains of Oddy & Co transfer label to each blade, 285cm long.*Notes- The British Voisin LA was an improved version of the French aircraft originally designed in 1912 as a bomber and ground attack aircraft. A two seat pusher plane with light steel frame, it was a versatile aircraft and notable for becoming one of the first dedicated bombers. Powered by Salmson engines it had a range of 175miles with a top speed of 70mph and a ceiling height of 11,485ft. Advances in other aircraft design by the end of the war made the Voisin obsolete
An Emor (Model 200) globe radio on stand:, the chrome plated globe with top vented speaker grill, equatorial dial signed as per title, raised on a chrome plated column with 'S M T' settings on a white painted circular cast iron base, 108cm high.* Notes Designed in 1947 by Polish designer Mechal Rabinowicz and built by the Emor Radio Company Ltd, the globe radio was operated by turning the whole body whilst an internal stationary light would indicate on the tuning band where the setting was. Originally available in a gold finish as well as some pastel colours, a 'stumpy' tabletop version was also available.
