Printed almost simultaneously with the first limited edition printed in Mexico, this edition features illustrations by the painter José Venturelli and a foreword by the president of the Chilean Communist Party, Galo Gonzalez. The imprint is false, "Imprenta Juárez, Reforma 75, Ciudad de México D.F." so as to to keep it underground.

A Motion Picture Edition, signed by Irving Thalberg and Norma Sheera on endpaper, photographic illustrations, original cloth, light fading to spine, minor bumping to spine ends and corners, 8vo, New York, 1936.⁂ Sheera played Juliet and Thalberg produced the MGM production of Romeo and Juliet. Thalberg contracted pneumonia and died in 1936, Romeo and Juliet was one of the last films he worked on and as a result signed copies of this work are scarce.
