A set of three French Louis XVI style giltwood and gesso salon side chairs with caned seats and cabriole legs with shell and acanthus leaf decoration together with another similar (4).Condition ReportAll the chairs are structurally sound, the three matching cane seats are all in good condition and the other has a hole in the cane seat. There is some light losses to the gilding, commensurate with age and use.
A Victorian silver spirit kettle on stand with embossed mythical beast decoration, London 1876 and maker's mark for John Septimus Beresford, 30cms high, 984g.Condition ReportThere are light indentations to the body, the cartouche is initialled 'CT'. The locking pin which attaches the kettle to the stand is missing, and there are a few very small shallow dents to the body, otherwise it is in good condition. The stand sits square and is also in general good condition.
A Georgian cut glass water jug, 19cms high; together with a Georgian water jug with gilded decoration and a similar decanter (3).Condition ReportThe cut glass water jug has a chip to the upper rim of the spout and a few small chips to the high points on the body. The gilded jug has no chips or cracks but the gilding is quite worn. The decanter has no chips and cracks and has only light wear to the gilding, under the upper rim there looks to be two ground down chips from the time of manufacture and then been over gilded.
A Dinky Toys no. 408 big Bedford lorry, maroon cab with light tan flatbed and cream hubs, boxed.Condition ReportThe original box is generally in good condition with slight knocking to the corners and edges, it has its original correct maroon sticker for the colour way , pencil priced on the lid 5/6d, the model is in original paint and is generally in very good condition.
Worksplate Andrew Barclay & Sons Co Ltd., numbered LWDMU 694 dated 1986. Ex 4-wheeled DH 230Hp Pacer Class 143, 2-car sets numbered 143601 to 143625, AB numbers 669 to 718/1985 to 1986 If plated in sequence this is ex Set 143615, . The initials stand for Light Weight Diesel Multiple Unit. Bodies were built by Walter Alexander of Falkirk and the Underframes by AB. Cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 10in x 8in.

Named Scunthorpe Steel Centenary March 1990-September 1995. Withdrawn from Immingham September 2003 and cut up by EMR Hartlepool September 2010. in basically as removed condition with some light touching up by the screw holes. Measures 7in x 4.75in.
Shedplate 72A Exmouth Junction 1950- September 1963. This ex LSWR shed to the east of Exeter had over 120 locos allocated throughout this period. At its peak it had 33 Bullied Light Pacifics and 7 Merchant Navies as well as 5 of those exotic Z class 0-8-0 tanks. In September 1963 it received the WR code 83D. In restored condition with the BR(S) Eastleigh triangle cast into the back and typical Southern region casting marks on the front. Ex 34011 Tavistock, see the West Country Scroll elsewhere in this auction.
Shedplate 73A Stewarts Lane 1950 to June 1962. This ex SECR shed had an allocation of over 100 locos during this period. Of note were 7 King Arthurs, 6 Schools 13 Bullied Light Pacifics and 3 Merchant Navy's. In June 1962 it was recoded 75D, and lost its steam allocation in September 1963. It is still a Repair and Maintenance depot for diesel and electric locos and a servicing point for steam locos. Face lightly restored with the BR(S) Eastleigh triangle cast into the back and typical Southern region casting marks on the front.
